Our 4th visit to this Choolah, owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming, after I mentioned that it was our 4th visit the owner graciously gave a next meal on us coupon, which I will definitely cash it next time. The quality of food and proteins is really amazing, the sauces are mind blowingly tasty. Specially the mango sauce, even the mango lemonade is delicious.

We took takeouts for lunch on our drive home and it tasted great just to perfection. It takes great effort to install a tandoori oven and they mastered the tandoors, very few restaurants have it and thats the man secret behind amazing tandoori rotis.

I will definitely visit again. Very spacious and beautifully designed interior.

The food is really good full of flavor and clearly made with care. The bread especially stood out. it tasted freshly baked, soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, which added the perfect touch to the meal.

This is probably my new favorite place to eat in Pittsburgh. I drove all the way from Valencia, PA to East Liberty to eat here by myself on a Sunday night. I was not disappointed. The spicy food is excellent. The rice, the chicken, the soup....it is all so tasty. I will be back. It was my second visit. Thank you for such a great meal. There is also free parking in a covered garage right next door if you only spend an hour there. What a great place!!

The food is pretty good, a twinge overcooked, but the real prize is the Mango lassi and the malai kulfi dessert. Both are perfect.

The food is really great, but the atmosphere feels like Apple got into the restaurant business. It’s really unsettling and is best remedied by a visit to Nadine’s or Take a Break

clean place with healthy india bowl! The india rice is really amazing. Enough protein for each bowl. Really a good choice. The sauce is also special. Definitely will come again.

I really like Choolah and their food! I come from the Cleveland, Ohio area and would always see Choolah but never got to go. Now, there is one in my undergrad’s student center. The East Liberty Choolah has super nice and helpful staff. My favorite thing to get is the Choolah Bowl with Paneer and Tikka Masala.
The only thing that should be mentioned is the price is a little high, in my opinion.

The food was really good! I would recommend trying their chicken roll, dal, chola, and samosa chaat.

Very tasty and authentic Indian food. And nothing ‘fast food’ about it. We had the spicy chicken wrap, samosa chaat and paneer bowl. Everything was good! And this is coming from an Indian who lives in India. Only the naan wasn’t as nice as it could have been
