We eat Chinese food pretty frequently but this is some of the best fried rice we have ever had. The staff is very kind and helpful and the atmosphere is a mix of modern and traditional decor. Combined with the great service and excellent food this is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh.

Small plate, too expensive, over $30 for one person

We tried the orange chicken and pork belly, neither hit the spot like we were hoping. Also, there's a 10% discount to pay with cash but we only found out with the printed receipt after paying with card - this needs to be explained before paying, a great way to do this would be by noting it in the menu. A little upset to have paid an extra $4.50 due to not being informed. Very nice atmosphere, a bit of outside seating, and excellent service

For a restaurant that has recently opened, they are doing quite well. The atmosphere is wonderful, though it was crowded, and the designs in the restaurant are beautiful.

The staff itself was very responsive and helpful, and they make sure that you enjoyed your meal and you have enough to drink. While, at some times it was overbearing, I understand the urgency that they have due to the restaurants opening. I hope they continue good service later on.

The food itself was good, though I only tried one dish- the Chinese Meatballs. I personally, having never tried these before, enjoyed the sauce and the presentation much more. The special sauce they had the meatballs in was great, and the presentation of the bok choy was perfect. I would recommend it to try.

The food is great, especially the Chef’s Specials. The staff are always friendly (gave us free appetizers). Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had outside China—the menu has a bit of a specifically Shanghai flavor, and it’s the best food of that kind I’ve had since I was last in Shanghai. Nice looking restaurant too.

Kung Pao Chicken (KPC) should not be deep fried, too oily, or have a taste that seems as if ketchup was substituted as a core ingredient, yet that is the (sadly commonplace) type of KPC served here. It's as if Chinese chefs think the joke is on us Americans--that's how we like it, they must imagine; but no one likes lazily cooked chicken, and especially not KPC, which needs to be done right or not at all. The noodles, also, were too oily and lacked depth of flavor. I could imagine how this place could be good, that said, if the chef was more willing to really put in the work to make a good, authentic version of what's listed on the menu.

Beautiful restaurant with high quality and authentic Shanghainese food. We loved the beef with chili peppers, Shanghai stew, and the sesame balls.

It’s a quick casual style restaurant.

The food is good quality and well done but prices are high for small portions. 3 dishes at lunch with tip was $80. This is not fine dining.

They lose stars bc there are many similar quality places at much better prices on the same street.
