This place sucks hard. We sat for over a half hour and the waitress never took our order. Yet she took orders from people that came in after us. And she walked past us a dozen times. We said screw it and left. Won't be back.

Food delicious...if he recommends something...say yes. Talking to Cristos was a highlight of the trip. I'm glad we stopped in

Convenient location, but that’s about all. The old Greek guy that runs the place will talk your ear off about Jackie Onassis and his Greek heritage. The place is very old and not well kept, with a strange odour that fills the whole restaurant. No bathroom, no music & not many people there. The small space is filled with a dusty collection of Greek memorabilia. We started with pita bread which had a dead fly in it. The mains were oddly pieced together with fruit and veggies that didn’t appear very fresh. The soda was watery. Certainly not worth $20 a person.

Here from Texas, been in Pittsburgh since Thursday. I wish we would have found it sooner, would have been here everyday. The staff is very nice, atmosphere calm with street view, everything fresh, cooked to order. If we ever visit Pittsburgh again, we will definitely come back.

Christos invited us in as we were trying to decide between the two Mediterranean restaurants next door to one another. We took him up on the offer, and I’m certain it was the right choice. Christos, the 85 yr old Greek namesake, displayed the pure hospitality of a chef who loves through food. He talked us into way too much food, but he wanted to ensure we tried his favorites. Everything was top notch, fresh, and delicious. This is a good choice.

Must Try: Christos’s 105 yr old father’s wine.

Food was good, but got a small portion for the price I paid. Owner entertained our group the entire time but was slow at getting food and refills the entire time.

I loved this place and loved the owner! The restaurant was so charming and so was Christo! He was 83 years old and still serving the food himself. Shared his grandmother’s potatoes and his special desert for THE Jackie O who he proudly says he cooked for over 3 years. Old World atmosphere with old family photos and his original immigration documents on display. Food was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend!

We waited for a long amount of time for a very small portion of food that didn’t taste good. Owner was pushy and the area wasn’t too hygienic

We traveled here from Columbus, and stumbled upon this amazing gem. The owner Christo warmly welcomed us and suggested I need to try his grandmothers potatoes. Incredible. If you’re looking for old school hospitality and a real world experience, I would highly recommend.

This was a highlight of our trip to Pittsburgh. The food was authentic and excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff as friendly and genuine as they come. Just come here for a meal and thank me later.
