We cannot say enough amazing things about Cinderlands as our wedding venue! After our original venue fell through just a few months before our big day (talk about stressful!), Kate and the Cinderlands team swooped in and truly saved the day. From the moment we walked through the space, we knew it was meant to be.

Our ceremony in the barrel room downstairs was absolutely magical, and the reception space had plenty of room for dinner, dancing, and all the fun moments in between. The food and drinks were incredible (our guests are still raving about it), and the entire experience was worth every penny.

What really made the difference was having Kate as the on-site event coordinator who guided us through every step — from booking and menu tastings to those last-minute day-of details that make all the difference.

We are so incredibly grateful to the entire team for giving us the wedding of our dreams.

My husband and I were here about three weeks ago. We had a great time. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is friendly. We found this to be very refreshing versus other places we were at around the city. Our bartender, Christian, was a lot of fun to talk to. He gave us great ideas of other places to eat and drink at for the next few days. Big shout out to him for the recommendations and great conversation. There is a great upstairs area that has a bit of a different feel than the first floor.

I recently held a rehearsal night dinner and welcome party for my son and future daughter-in-law at Cinderlands Brewery in Pittsburg. This involved really two events occurring back to back over 4 hours for 160 guests. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kate and her crew. The atmosphere for a decidedly more casual event was perfect. The food quality above average. The folks assisting Kate were definitely on it replenishing empty trays when needed and always available. The bar access was very available, minimal wait time if any. Although the beer was an obvious choice, cocktails were available and all excellent quality.
I got nothing but rave reviews from my family and guests who attended these events. Thank you Kate for your competence and excellent operation that is the Cinderlands Brewery. As one might guess I heartedly recommend this establishment.

Absolutely amazing food. Some of the best food I’ve had in years. Beer was excellent and so was the service. 11/10 would highly recommend

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful. Kate was amazing to work with and everything went so smoothly, couldn't have asked for a better time. We got some stunning pictures in the building and out by the walkway!

The service here is insane. You order on your own through a QR code, never get checked on, and when you do need something, the waiters/waitresses act like you are such a nuisance and are bothering them for asking anything. Staff was incredibly dismissive and rude. Food is okay, but when you go to pay they ask for a tip at the end of the receipt? A tip for what?? There is no service provided other than cooking the food so you should be able to tip the COOKS not the non-existent “servers”. Will not be returning here or suggesting it.

Came here for board game night .Great friendly service really nice friendly Vibe of the staff and patrons I really don't drink any beer of any kind but they do have some non-alcoholic drinks at the bar. Enjoying my grapefruit soda and they have a really cool bubble hockey game featuring the Penguins against the Hartford Whalers.

Fun place. Great happy hour. Food is good bar food, good drinks and beer. I really hate that you have to order on your phone, pay on phone and they automatically put on a 20% tip. Servers were just standing around since all was on phone. I had to chase down napkins, forks and condiments. Nice atmosphere. Just bring your phone or you're out of luck.

Glad to know Pittsburgh is doing a few things right. This brewery being one of them. It's in 'The Strip,' and don't worry, they won't have Las Vegas Strip style pricing here. There's street parking and a giant parking lot right next door. Lots of construction going on in this area. So, The Strip is up and coming? There's plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, including bar stools. Had a couple beers and read a book at the bar. Social anxiety mixed with love of craft beer. If that's you, too, expect some overhead comments like, 'I thought this was a bar,' from the sassy, heartless bartender. Discomfort!

Beer time: Tracks Again is a fine traditional pilsner. Squish Ice is a modern hop-forward West Coast pilsner. Don't see too many of those, and it's a good one. Get it while you can. Strawberry Yinzerade is a nice sour, and was the visit's taste highlight. Bombs in Pop Space, another fruited sour, had lots of terrific blended fruit flavors, softened with some lactose for that milkshake taste. The Coffee & Orange Nitro Milk Stout was gross. Not recommended. The piña colada inspired Rooftop Colada wheat beer was an unexpected treat.

Accidentally left my sunglasses in the restroom and Jack made sure they were recovered and stashed until I could come back and get them. Good service, good food, good beer.

Stopped here on a recent visit to Pittsburgh. It’s in a very cool industrial-looking space (I assume a repurposed building like a lot of the places on and around the Strip.) The first floor has a spacious bar and plenty of tables. The second floor seems more dedicated to dining, with lots of tables inside and on a big outdoor deck area. The food and beer are exceptional with lots of creative touches on both. We had two kinds of pizza, and both were crispy and delicious. There are many other menu options if pizza isn’t your thing. Our beer selection included a Helles, a Pils, and a killer nitro milk stout with a tangerine addition. I wasn’t sure I’d like the stout, but I was curious so I had one. It was amazing! Food and drinks are ordered seamlessly via your phone and arrive at your table promptly. There are also staff members on the floor if you have questions about anything. There are lots of breweries in Pittsburgh and, having visited several, I don’t think there’s a bad one in the bunch. But make it a point to check out Cinderland…5 stars!
