Had my first Cinderlands beer about a year ago and was excited to try one of their locations. Went on a Sunday night and it was mostly empty. Everything is ordered through your phone and servers only bring your stuff. It was quick but very impersonal and sterile - not a fan. Beer was really pretty middling - decent but not as good as I had last year. Food was definitely above average pub food and was quite good. Closes early ( what is up with that Pittsburgh??). Took a good 25 minutes to get an Uber back to downtown at 8pm.

Rude bartenders and staff. Our group left after one drink.

Big space, stopped in for lunch with a friend. You order everything using your mobile, so we missed getting input from servers on the menu & beers. Everything went smoothly ordering and the drinks & food came out really fast. We enjoyed everything we ordered - the seasoned fries were especially good. CJ was awesome to offer tastes of two beers when I couldn't decide. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

The idea is good but the execution is very poor. For the money invested in the endeavor this place should be full to capacity every day. It was not and here is why - the beer was tasteless. No character, no particular flavor to enjoy, no bitterness in the IPA. I tested 10 beers before I bought a glass of something worse than a Budweiser. Just because the bar tender was nice. I didn’t drink it. Food: thin burgers we were promised to be juicy. They were not. They are not made to order but probably cooked and frozen. I think so because I ordered a medium rare and was told that they were already cooked to medium. The only available cheese is American plastic. Who eats that chemistry? No variety in hot sauces. For the price the portions were small, not enough to enjoy with with 2-3 glasses of brew, even if it was drinkable. The service was so-so. The place has a lot of potential, but i don’t recommend it until that potential is developed.

Food and beverages are great. I really liked the Hot Chicken Sandwich and their beverages.I've consistently had poor experiences with the wait staff. They either can't answer questions about the menu (e.g. is anything vegan friendly?), bartenders stand on the far left of the bar chatting ignoring patrons wanting refills, or intentionally dismissing people trying to get their attention. The wait staff has been lack luster on multiple trips over several years. Go for the food and drinks, but don't expect stellar service.Oh, and customers with international phone numbers can not order from the mobile system. Only US phone numbers are accepted. Don't bring your coworkers visiting the US.

Honestly probably one of the most underrated places in Pittsburgh I think. We’re happy we only live about a half mile from Cinderlands cause when we can’t decide on what to eat we just walk there for lunch or dinner and have NEVER been disappointed. I think they should be higher than a 4.3 rating on google tbh. I skimmed the negative reviews and I’d say 90% of them talk about the bartenders being the worst but we have never had any issues with them, or service in general?? We’ve sat at tables and at the bar and have gone on weekdays and weekends so I have no idea. My husband says their burger is probably his favorite in Pittsburgh so far. I love that they switch up their salad menu often. The first time we came I had an amazing pea salad and I haven’t seen it since, hoping it shows up again LOL also their in house spiked tea is SO good. I end up drinking so many glasses. It’s the best on a hot summer day!

Large and inviting two-story space. Ample seating. Ample (and free!) street parking.Beers are very good - I had the Helles and Full Squish Hazy IPA.My fried chicken sandwich was top-notch. Moist, tender, crispy and with a nice Nashville-like kick from the hot oil. Fries were excellent.Rock solid service.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Delicious beers and food. Enjoyed the huevos rancheros, a one more sleep, a 2 hop 2 handle, and the hands-down best seltzer ive ever had.

This place was the best brewery of the trip! First off, the site has two floors and is massive! We were told the downstairs section was doing trivia night, but if we wanted to have dinner, we'd need to go upstairs. So, upstairs it was. I found one of these beers at a bar a few nights before arriving here and was an instant fan. If you like IPAs and Hazy, you must try Squish or Full Squish. I tried a few others, but those were my favorite taps.We walked upstairs, and the hostess seated us right away. Everything you order is from your phone. I wouldn't say I like this because I like interacting with a server and seeing/reading a menu. Sometimes, the server will advise you on what to order when visiting from out of town. I'll leave this section on a positive note. When you order from your phone, the item comes out much faster because you don't have to flag down your server or another staff member. That's a plus!We ordered the famous (only among our friends) Crunch Wrap! I'm a fan! My only critique of this dish was that there wasn't any level of crunch. I would've enjoyed a little crunch, but not complaining too much. The flavor was all there and then some. Solid meal, and YES, I would order it again when I return to town. All in all, I'm giving this 5 stars for the Beer, Food, and Staff. All three were 5 stars all the way. Great job, Cinderlands!

Came here with a group of collaborators and had a great meal. The order on your phone system actually works pretty well despite us originally being unsure about it. You can also request someone to just come help by "ordering" the "I need help" option which is nice. It also makes it easy for everyone to check out on their own at the end. I got the chicken sandwich and we had a ton of appetizers, including the chips and dip, which were great. Lots of good drinks too. We were there on a Tuesday, and they had trivia downstairs as well. We will be back!

Beer & Cocktails in the StripIf you're ever looking for an "outdoor feeling" spot that's still well undercover from rainy Pittsburgh weather, Cinderland's Warehouse in the Strip is a great spot. I love their 2nd floor - it's big and open with lots of light, plants, a covered patio, and a big bar!We didn't have any food this time, but had another great visit. The drinks I tried are below. COCKTAILS Unicorn Juice: Hibiscus Rosemary Syrup, Lemon, Lavender Bitters, @statesidevodka & edible glitterMargarita: Salt Spray, Fresh Lime, Triple Sec, @hiddenstillhershey tequilaThe only thing I really dislike about this spot is that we have to wear 21+ wristbands. They're ugly & uncomfortable, honestly hate them & it just doesn't seem totally necessary, especially when it's slow.

Cinderlands oh wow this place was good - Me lady's parents were in town exploring the historic strip district and we came across cinderlands, and boy what a treat. when I tell you this wagu burger does not disappoint - THIS WAGU BURGER DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. Now what does disappoint is me-lady's fried chicken sandwiche, it was dry and left a lot to be desired. Poutine was good but not writing home to my mother about it. Fun place with live music big open space. Almost ain't here with me parents during COVID but there was no out door seating so that is not hear no there.
