I’m not sure what was worse the bartender talking to her friends and not waiting on customers/getting table orders for over 8 minutes. Then making herself a drink. Having what I assume was the manager with the backwards hat doing nothing pouring him self a drink, I get why there was only a few folks inside. The food I had French dip sandwich with a side of potatoes skins. My wife had butternut squash ravioli. She loved her dish but my sandwich was your typical sliced roast beef (microwaved) which is why the end pieces were rubber, and not tender at all. The shoestring fries came highly recommended but they were old in the cold side and soaked with oil. I will not return. The only positive thing was our Waitress she was hustling her but off! She looked and sounded overworked, but did a good job.
Clark's Restaurant is located in a large parking lot near a Target and Giant Eagle. The quiet restaurant side has tables and chairs. The separate bar side has lots of light, additional seating, television and a decent selection of wines. The Burger Eater among us went here for a late Thursday lunch in June with a Friend. The service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a Blackened Mahi Sandwich on a Brioche Bun with Avocado, Slaw and Chipotle Aioli, with a side of Cole Slaw, along with a French Onion Burger on a Gluten Free Bun with Caramelized Onions, Provolone Cheese (held for dietary reasons), Arugula and Parsley Aioli, with a side of Shoestring Fries (the Thursday Lunch Special). (See attached photos.) The Blackened Mahi sandwich was delicious and perfectly cooked. The burger was thick and tasted great - high marks. The shoestring fries and coffee were decent. On balance, the food was a little pricey but very, very good. We would eat here again.
This is a super great spot for a quick bite. The bar area is expansive with a great wide screen above the bar. Very casual and friendly. The servers are super nice. We all had something different to eat and we all liked the portion size and the food was served hot and it was good. The drinks were not skimpy.
Had dinner on a Saturday. Food was really good. Sat on bar side. Very loud. The “restaurant “ side is much more quiet. Beer is way over-priced. $4.75 for mic ultra. $8-9 for crafts.
It’s a “new” bar/restaurant in tahn… but.. their reputation exceeds expectations….Being a local around the area I will tell you, this is THE “top-of-the-line” as far as service and food goes.. excellent!Pssshhh and the drinks/bar service!?!? the best in the BURG!!! Hands dahn!!
A nice place for lunch, special occasions and parties.
I go there for lunch pretty often and Mary always remembers how picky I am and exactly what I want on my salad. Everyone there has always been really friendly as well.
An institution on the north shore! Excellent food.
Tom remains one of the greatest guys (and bartenders) out there! I am really missing this place and hope they reopen soon. Great burgers.
Nice cigar bar
