Walked in and the place was at capacity. Not one customer wearing a mask. Not one employee wearing a mask. Not one. The owner kissed with a customer and hugged them to take a selfie. The same person who was grabbing/touching half eaten plates and putting them in doggy bags was also running the register and handing to-go orders to people.I paid because I made an order with them before knowing this and thought it fair to complete the transaction. Never again though. The pizza went in an outdoor garbage can.

His food is amazing. Some of the most authentic Italian food I've ever had. Better try it soon.

This is my favorite "Mom and Pop" Italian restaurant. The food and the service are excellent and Claudio will make sure you have a wonderful time while you are there. It is not fine dining by any means but it is really good food and a very friendly atmosphere. The prices are very affordable and make sure you take home a loaf of his fabulous Italian bread.

I am honestly shocked at the amount of good reviews based on our experience. We ordered takeout and when we walked in, an employee was changing a baby on the same counter we were getting our food on. The sauce was runny, almost water consistency and they used canned mushrooms on the chicken marsala. My caprese salad was room temperature and they forgot the balsamic. The pizza we ordered was undercooked & full of grease. We threw everything out! I usually don’t even post bad reviews because I have worked in the restaurant industry but good lord - this was AWFUL!!!!

GREAT customer service! The owner is so down to earth and makes you feel at home. The pizza was perfect. The bread with oil and cheese was to die for. It was so fresh and still warm when I got it. I will definitely be returning.

Bread and olive oil are to die for!!! Had chicken pastina soup, chicken primevera pasta, and tirimasu. Some of the best food I've had. Best Italian spot in Pittsburgh. Everything is homemade including the bread. The people that work here are very friendly too. Claduio is a very generous man. Great spot. And don't let the outside discourage you, this is a GEM!

Just left this place. I tried the front door even though the open sign was off and it was locked. It's the third time I try to go past few weeks this place has been closed. I called while I was there and went right to voicemail. It's 2020 get a FB page or update website to reflect hours of operation. Ridiculous

Love him and his food. Claudio is one of the best Italian cooks around. Very polite and friendly. Never had a bad experience there.

Ever have an awesome authentic Italian meal in a garage? I have and thoroughly enjoyed their food. Their fresh Italian bread is one of the freshest tasted. Try their stuffed eggplant if you get a chance. Next visit, going for the homemade gnocchi. BYOB if a wine is desired with your dinner.
