I used to come here about four times a year to get whole beans. You could buy whole beans by the ounce and know what day they were roasted.
Now, I was told they have no idea when the beans are roasted and the Colombian almost doubled in price to $43.48 per pound.
That is insanely expensive. I am sad that after years of going, I can no longer afford the price.
EDIT: Why does it taste like chemical cleaner? It used to be so good!

Great coffee and friendly service. Tried their raspberry white chocolate mocha, tasted excellent. The ambience was wonderful. Would definitely stop by again when I am in the area.

We’ve been coming to coffee tree roasters for over 35 years and now we can’t get a pound of coffee ground at the counter anymore. You have to buy 3/4 of Pound, and I think the price is the same. This may be the end of our relationship with Coffee Trree Roasters.

My number one priority is cleanliness. There was a significant gap - I was looking and browsing the pasties on display on the case until i saw a dark hair on top of one of them in the icing. I then proceed to get my drink which had a long dark hair attached to it and stuck to the stick and lid. It was long and gross. I didn’t even get an apology and acknowledgment- it was very odd. I did get it remade which was appreciated but at the very least needed. On top of that, I’ve had 2 drinks here and neither were made well. Both matchas significantly watered down and not made correctly. The restroom needed significant attention, the wall next to the table was in poor condition was dirty as well. The couch had some kind of chocolate muffin encrusted into it. I wouldn’t go because of the poor drink quality alone, but now also the cleanliness is non negotiable.

Bland coffee (tastes like milk) on a cardboard cup. Barista didn’t even look at me. Come here if you don’t like coffee and find bad service enjoyable. I’m genuinely wondering if there was any Coffee on my drink at all.

Friendly baristas, good & fast latte. Fun place to try. The cost is similar to Starbucks, but the coffee didn’t taste better than Starbucks. Tree’s medium latte is 5.15. Starbucks medium latte is 5.25. I won’t return.
Very tasty drinks when they get it right, but once or twice I've been and it hasnt been super consistent.
Good combo of seating to work and seating to chat.

i stopped here when i was in walnut street for a iced coffee and i have to say the coffee was really really good! it was the perfect balance between bitter and sweet and they had so many syrup options to choose from.
i got the brown sugar syrup and it was the perfect amount of sweetness for my latte.
the coffee shop is also relatively large and it has a nice atmosphere to get some work done!

They have one barista for a million customers. They can afford to hire more with their prices and volume. The macchiato came out cold and was bitter. Terrible place.

Great space to do some work with pretty good coffee and snacks!
I especially love when they open the space up with their outdoor seating, lots of space available for mostly students to come and do work, very pretty and homey! The coffee was a bit cold, but I liked their dark roast a lot! I also enjoyed their pecan roll, but all their pastries look solid, especially love that they have tazza doro food, another great spot. One of the best places to sit for awhile and study/do work!
