Excellent venue in Pittsburgh's strip district. One stop shopping for a breakfast coffee and dessert this morning. The works (greens, egg, sausage, beans and potatoes) was excellent as was the cappuccino and almond melle. Limited interior standing tables and counters and in addition to outside tables. We visited off peak hours so as to not encounter space issue.

I got a slice of spinach and feta pizza. Soooooo delicious. Almost got a cannoli but I didn’t think I would finish it.

I stopped in here for a quick lunch after seeing some good reviews on social media. I quite enjoyed my quick stop and could see myself coming back. The Pizza Slices were $5 each and the Cannolis were $4 each
Its a great authentic Italian place. Pastries and their pastas, salad are excellent.

Been to strip dozens of times over last 15 years. First time here. Great food. Pizza. Sandwiches. And the beans and greens are THE BEST ANYWHERE. Can't wait to go back.

So, we came here because a local artist said, “You HAVE to go get a Lady Luck.” We didn’t even know what that was, so we walked in and asked the super nice girl at the front. And then… out comes this gorgeous, magical cone of cream and puffy pastry.
It was like if a beignet and a cloud had a baby, and then covered it in snow made of powdered sugar! We were wearing half of it on our faces, and it was AWESOME.
Then they had these teeny tiny Sfogliatelle. I had never tried one before, but now I’m ruined forever, because every single one I have after this will have to live up to the flakiest, most delicious cream-filled bite of happiness ever.
I love pastries, and I love Colangelo’s!

Incredible doesn’t even begin to cover our experience here. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! We stopped in one afternoon for a quick bite to eat before we hit the road back home to WV & I have been trying to come up with an excuse to come back ever since. I got an Alfredo to go and the bread it came with was to die for; truly the best I’ve ever eaten. My husband got a slice of pizza and had it gone before I got back in line to order an entire box of pastries to take home too-because they were begging me to buy them while waiting for our food to be finished! The cannolis, unreal. The twisted cinnamon pastry I forget the name of, obsessed. I can’t wait to come back and try as many things as we can! By the way my pasta was cooked to perfection-tossed in the silkiest, creamiest, yummiest sauce ever. The owner was so sweet and appreciative. Everything about it was 10/10; I’m telling you check this place out asap and thank me later!!

Best kept secret in The Strip. Everything is delicious and freshly prepared! It's also family-owned and operated. Call ahead or use the easy peasy website for ordering! You can also order a Colangelo t-shirt from the website!
The Italian pastries, wedding soup, pasta dishes, and famous greens and beans are not to be missed 😋!!
