Came in because we’d run out of milk for our own brewed coffee. Commonplace sold us a cup and saved the morning from a catastrophic event!

Just a great spot for coffee with fellow school parents after drop off. Love supporting local businesses.

Genuinely some of the best coffee ive ever had. So much flavor and depth in their lattes. Prices are also super reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely some of the best you can get on the east end.

Coffee was good, but i couldn't drink it. The lid and container they use do not work together, and 5 minutes into my bumpy drive home the drink had already spilled half out of the lid, so I had to dump it out to avoid burning my hands even worse.
I will not be going back unless i bring my own cup, not worth the $8 for a stupid cup of coffee.
Great service, very comfortable and thoughtful environment, good acoustics (no one had to shout) and the coffee is excellent! I had a large Americano and my friend had a large latte, both of us very satisfied with our drinks.
One of the best cortados in town and a great sit-down cafe.

One of my favorite coffee shops. A spartan simple inside; people come to work quietly on their computers. A good place to get into work-flow. The coffee is pricey considering I order simple lattes and drip.
It's spacious inside with shaded outside seating and enough power outlets to avoid charging traffic.

Hidden gem. Perfect spot to kill some time. Open space with indoor and outdoor seating. Beverage is on point. Food is lack luster.

Excellent Coffee prepared by talented and kind baristas. Everyone is welcome here, always an art project or other way for patrons to be involved.
Board games, books to borrow, drinks to drink, food to eat, beans to buy. I’m glad they have locations all over the city. One of my favorites!

Probably my favorite Commonplace in the city! Though I am biased since it's the closest to my apartment.
The coffee is always wonderful here and the breakfast burritos are pretty great too! There is plenty of seating though it can get pretty busy at times. Luckily there is outdoor seating in the little square of Rockwell Park as well, which works to alleviate the strain inside if the weather is nice.
One negative is that the bathrooms are in the lobby of the main building and they're closed on the weekends. At that point you need a little fob from the staff to use the single bathroom in the bike room.
Another negative is that sometimes the music is a bit loud though this depends on where your seated. It's a large space so if you're under one of them then it can be a bit annoying. Another loud thing is groups. For whatever reason this spot seems to have rushes of throngs of people more often than the other locations.

This is in my local neighborhood. I love this place. The lattes are very well made. I’m able to walk there for my morning caffeine fix. It’s very beautiful and cozy in there, the employees are very nice. I’m very happy. When I say I want a latte, I’m talking about common place.

never had issues with the Southside or squirrel Hill locations. showed up to this one a little after 7 this morning and a woman and I were trying to enter but the door was locked. there were customers and staff inside but they were ignoring us completely. kinda suspect because the Black woman trying to get in with me said this has happened to her before. there were literally customers sitting inside with their laptops and drinks at their tables. really disappointed. won't be returning. Everyday Cafe was a far more welcoming environment

Good place for remote workers.
Parking: It's a little confusing where you are allowed to park in this area. There is usually plenty of parking up the hill outside Ascend but it's a little bit of a walk.
