The standard flavors and buttercream are super tasty, but the fall cake variety, pumpkin apple spice with cream cheese frosting, is out of this world. My family absolutely raved about this cake. I over ordered, but leftovers were devoured so quickly. I had so many asks about where it came from.

My wife and I needed vegan/gluten free (V/GF) cupcakes and a large cake for approximately a hundred guests. We chose Confections by Casey Renee.
Best decision ever. Five stars.
We started out by trying the sampler for V/GF cupcakes and really enjoyed everything we had. Based on that sampler, we decided to go with Confections for our cake. We did chocolate cake and chocolate ganache for the V/GF cupcakes, and a vanilla cake, berry filling, mascarpone icing cake. Everything was delicious.
The cake was marvelous for the eyes and tummy. I personally had the cake. The cake itself was a moist, pleasant vanilla. The filling was a tart, aromatic berry jam. The icing was a sophisticated, creamy, not too sweet dream. Really well balanced and delicious. I didn’t personally have the V/GF cupcakes because I don’t have to live my life like that, but the guests that had them said they were fantastic.
What started as an endeavor to find V/GF options turned into an awesome dessert experience. We will definitely return to Confections for our cakely needs.

She is very helpful and it’s very easy to do business with her. Her vegan wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious. All the guests loved it! Don’t hesitate to support this local small bakery!
