Most amazing place! Love coughlin’s always. They are the best bartenders, staff and managers.

The Day Life

First, we started with the Buffalo chicken dip which was creamy and the blue cheese crumbles were JUST enough to make it the mix of creamy and a bit of blue cheese.
Second, the pizzas ALWAYS nice and crispy. It’s crust finishing WORTHY. I’ve tried 3 so far the rankings would be 1. Bbq pizza 2. The margarita pizza and 3 Diablo.
Third, we had the Coughlin’s burgers which were juicy, savory and sweet all at once. He likes his with the smoke and I like mine without.
Lastly we didn’t stop there the Apple dessert pizza is a MUST, the brown sugar crumbles and the gooey icing. OMG
The Server, Camden C. Was a delight and truly went ABOVE and beyond with our service, get suggestions were top notch and her up selling was never ending which is ALWAYS a good thing.

As a restaurant manager myself tops off to this place and the staff we will be back again

This place was nice and clean, music wasn't to loud, tables were not pushed against each other so it didn't fill like you were eating dinner and listening to complete strangers conversations.
The service was sub par. We would.go 10 to 15 min with out seeing our server with empty glasses sitting there. But in all the server was very nice.
Food was a different story, the crab Rangoon nachos were ok. The Margherita pizza was inedible. It was like they just opened a jar of hunts tomato sauce and dumped it on a cheese pizza.
The poutine was unlike any poutine I have had before. I have eatin tons of it through out Canada and never had anything as bad as this one.
My friend would not finish his chicken sandwhich said it was not good at all.
I'm a large guy and not a picky eater by any means and I hate wasting food.but if I won't even take the food home it must be bad.
My party and I both agreed that it would probably be a nice place to sit and have a drink but to eat never again

This is a great spot for lunch and a beer. Their food is creative but not too over the top.

I don’t usually write disappointing reviews, but it’s extremely hard not to!We showed up at 7:02 and we were told , you have an 1/2 hr wait. We were texted and We were seated at 7:25. We had to Wait 15 min before the manager comes over only to tell us at 7:45, they couldn’t serve us! The Only reasoning was that the kitchen was done.on your web sight , it says your kitchen closes at 8:45. We were within that time frame! You knew way before we were seated that your kitchen was overwhelmed! It’s a weekend of football, management needs to plan better! Rumors surfaced outside they ran out of food! Whatever the reason stop taking reservations and certainly if you take a reservation, honor those that waited for the text message their table was ready When your kitchen over rides your manager, you have bigger problems Within. I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I’m sad to write this review as Coughlin’s Law is usually a favorite eatery when in the Pittsburgh area. (Steelers season ticket holder in for all games from upstate NY) Upon arrival we requested an indoor table and were told a 45 minute wait. I’m going through chemo and was willing to wait a bit longer to be inside opposed to out. We have a drink at the bar while waiting (fabulous mocktail) When our table becomes ready he tells us it is last call for food and we assure him we’re ready to order immediately. The gentleman takes us to our table and it is outside. The table was right under the heater but still too cold for me last evening. So we go back to his podium and request inside and he moves us to a table inside. We sit a good 10 minutes and no server comes over. Then a gentleman claiming to be the manager comes and tells us he’s sorry but they are not serving any more tables. That the kitchen is “Wicked backed up and I’m getting backlash from them, they won’t cook any more food”. We expressed our dismay that we’ve now got an hour wait time invested to then be turned away. He offered to take our drinks off our tab but they were bought at the bar. After one from our party suggested some sort of compensation he did come back with a gift card which is appreciated but what makes him think we’ll come back after how we were treated this visit? This is so different from past service we’ve gotten there. But as I reflect the last 2 or 3 visits there was always something that wasn’t right (wrong order or something) but nothing like this. And if I look at time table the decline seems to coincide with the opening of the second location. (Maybe staff moves? I don’t know but they need to figure it out) Seating a party that waited that long and turning them away after 8 PM on a Sunday night is just not good business.

Coughlin's Law Kitchen and Brew Pub is a place you'll want to keep coming back to! The beer they brew here is absolutely amazing – a variety of styles to suit any taste, all incredibly fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend trying their signature burger – it's a true culinary masterpiece! Juicy patties, fresh ingredients, and perfect presentation. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. If you love great beer and delicious burgers, this spot is a must-visit!
