Their most basic black coffee is kind of bad, which always tells you something about the quality of a cafe. The baked goods they have for sale are of a similar grade. The ambience of this location is incredibly unwelcoming. Cold and impersonal, but without even the level of polish you might expect from a business with those qualities. Terrible coffee shop. But I'll keep stopping here because the location is good.

Eating here was a lovely experience, wonderfully climate controlled, breakfast items were beyond my expectations and the vanilla chai latte I ordered was delightful. This is my go-to spot in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend it. 💜

The lady working at the register was nice and friendly explaining the latte sizes and espresso shots. Unfortunately, the drink itself was a letdown. I didn’t see a fresh espresso shot pulled, and it tasted like it had been sitting out, maybe from their previous orders, weak and not very fresh. The caramel syrup also tasted low quality. Probably won’t be coming back.

Middle aged white man working here is so rude and demeaning. There are literally so many reviews about him on here from months ago and management does nothing. Do better.

I never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to in order to warn others to stay away when the man is working. He was completely miserable to me and everyone else I saw come in to order. I initially stayed to do some pattern design but felt so uncomfortable in general while also listening to him demean not only other customers, but a instacart driver they had ordered from whom didn’t speak English. Extremely rude encounter. I asked for the bathroom keys and instead of handing them to me, he threw them on the counter in front of me. STAY AWAY from this place, the owner is clearly not doing anything about him as I’ve seen multiple multiple reviews about this guy and he’s still there and still completely terrible.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND DID NOT APPRECIATE the "service" we didn't get a chance to receive. We walked in with only one other person there and it was like he didn't want to wait on us or for us to be there. He barely made eye contact with us...I did have a bottled water and a bag but he did not even give my friend and I a chance to explain that we had no intentions of drinking and we did not have food in the bag, I was carrying paper in the bag which I took out to show him but he didnt take the time to look over and see as if he was looking down on us and KEPT cut us off saying "I don't care what you have in the bag no outside food or drink is allowed". After we tried to continue to stay after the fact it just so happens that he was out of the product that she wanted causing us to leave and not wanting to return.
