I have eaten at this location several times in the past and it’s never been like this before. For starters the service was very poor we waited 20 minutes to be served after sitting down couldn’t get refills on water while eating we asked for our check 3-4 times as well as a box. The food wasn’t like I remember the portion sizes were nearly half of what they used to be but still the same prices. Disappointing to see this performance from my favorite Thai restaurant in the Pittsburgh area.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the burgh. For some reason PGH struggles with good Thai. The local dominant operator Nicky's to me is just average to below avg. I have had the drunken noodles on many occasions, and they are some of the best I have had anywhere. The service is always friendly, and the ambiance is very warm and welcoming. Parking is on street or in the lot across the street. Check for whether payment is due...I have gone several times and didn't have to pay.

Without leaving specific details, our last visit, after consistently having a poor dine in or take out, left us seeking a new favorite Thai place. I just want to give the service staff a huge shout out. I accidentally ordered from this location on Saturday evening and the employee who picked up the phone was so kind and so accommodating. He called the East Liberty location and had them make my order. I just want to say thank you! The food was incredible and I will definitely be back.

Dancing Crab has the best Pad Thai around! I’ve been adding the Homemade Steamed Dumplings for a while, so good! This time the meat was rancid. Had to spit it out and throw out the rest. The chicken in the Pad Thai was also tough this time.
I’d give them some time to figure things out before returning anytime soon!
