This restaurant is easily one of the best Thai restaurants in Pittsburgh. Being vegetarians, it can be difficult to find food that we can eat, and the food here is vegan friendly (always a plus). The staff here are super accommodating and friendly. Both the owner and our server, Tom, were incredibly funny, cheery, and definitely made us want to come back.

Vegetarian options: The staff are able to make many of the dishes suitable for vegetarians.

Came here with friends for a lunch date today. Our server was amazing and friendly. The food was presented in a beautiful, artistic way, and tasted fantastic. We also had a chance to meet the owner and she was very sweet. 10/10 Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Stop taking new orders when overloaded. You make both customers and drivers unhappy.

Just happened upon Dancing crab Thai Sat right down and ordered Spicy basil over rice and egg with fried tofu as the appetizer. Both came quickly
The tofu was nice and crispy perfect texture. Had dipping sauce that complemented perfectly. The basil rice was just as I remembered tasty spicy as I asked for delicious and filling Nice friendly staff. Get your Thai on here!

Always very consistent. Amazing food, amazing service. It feels like a family atmosphere and you can tell they care about what they do. Even fresh flowers on the table every time I’ve gone.

Foods pretty good but the service has been bad the last 3 times I went. Too many Thai options for such slow service.

The spicy basil is phenomenal. I can't wait to eat it again.

It can't take 35 minutes to prepare a meal. Are you cooking it by watching it on YouTube?

Definitely above average Thai restaurant where the menu has both the usual fare and a few special items. Both sides of the interior of the house have romantic private booths. The front is dominated by a bar area.

Vegetarian options: Tofu is an option for any dish where you select a protein.

We just found The Dancing Crab today and I'm impressed. I really love Thai and I was excited to try someplace new. All 4 of us were very happy with our meals, cooked fresh, perfectly spiced, good portions! The drinks were also tasty and creative.
The friendy and talented bartender, and the cook, managed to take good care of us, but they were the only staff. It was busy but they kept up. A waitress would improve the experience.
We will be back!

Ordered takeout and could not have been more disappointed. The portion size was small for the price. Got the Thai basil fried rice and not one shred of basil to be found, the noodles were 18.99 for a small container that was not even full. Not to mention the small cup of Tom Kha for with tofu for $11.00 and was overpowered with fish sauce which made it salty. Didn’t blow me away. There are better options at way better prices.
