Dave & Buster's Pittsburgh - North Hills

Although everyone was excited to eat here and play games, we found the the order taker to be unengaged or disinterested in our table. I had to take my drink and my disabled friends drink to the bar to get a refill because the attendant wasn't stopping back. I let the bar tender know he had not stopped back another hour later I grabbed the manager he gave no empathy or apology to my guests but did take a drink order. The original waiter came back to serve the drinks reaching over my girlfriend's plate and lighting spilling the drink onto her plate. At no opportunity did the staff members apologize for the service, wait time, lack of attention or spilling the drink. We got a bar staff to check out because the waiter who knows if he would ever return. It was sad because it made really fun place and family experience suck. I did mention to both the manager and the waiter it was guests birthday. None of them acknowledged her or it being special that they we chose Dave & Buster's to celebrate

The arcade is the highlight. There was a surprising amount of people for a Wednesday night, but it wasn't too crowded. Didn't have to wait for games. Dinner was fine and server was very nice. Had a great time with friends!

The staff was amazing. They took great care of us. The food was delicious. The room was FREEZING and although they tried to make it better, it never improved.

The prizes and games are much better than the one at the Waterfront. However, we had such a bad experience at the bar that I wouldn't recommend eating here. Before I give my review, I'd like to say that the bar was basically empty. We had such slow service that we lost over an hour of play time to get food that came out cold and drinks that didn't match the menu because they were out of things. So go there to play, not drink/eat.

Overall, it was a good visit. The food was excellent on a Friday night. We got the steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Cooked perfectly 👌. My only complaint is that we had a 4 year old with us and they put us at a high top table. We asked if we could have a booth and they said booths were closed. My kiddo ended up falling off the high top chair, in a quick moment and I wish I would have pushed for the booth. There was a booth that needed cleaned right next to us (although for like 10 people) and the other booths were a short walk away. It was only 7pm so seemed pretty dumb to me.

When I made reservation I requested a booth. I have a 4yr with Autism and a booth is better for him. Was seated at a high table told no booths available yet there were several and they were not busy. Wasn't able to eat my meal, had to hold my son because I was concerned he would fall off his seat. Hostess was rude and inconsiderate towards my situation. My server was wonderful got the manager involved but an hour into this I did not want switch tables , I was already boxing up my food, funny how the booths remained empty the whole time we were there. Only reason I stayed was for the Superman event my kids were looking forward to.

Food was poor quality and way over priced , the games barely gave any tickets specifically compared to what they want to trade them in, and it was soo load in the dinning room . We practicely had to scream to order. Not it mention. My ladies drink didnt come till after the food . That's only because we asked about it 3 times. An then they brought us the wrong drink. .. never going back there again. It's a shame I used to love Dave an busters. Oh an the only game we really wanted to play. The brand new human crane game. Was down an needed repairs

The food was burnt and too salty. It wasn’t the cleanest but not the dirtiest I tried the big crane machine 1 time and mid way through it broke as well as another ticket game it gave me the wrong amount of tickets. The lady at the prize counter Jessica was such a brat. She told us if we opened a toy to see if it works we would have to buy it.. I wanted to see if my 5,000 ticket item worked and she just gave me attitude about it. When she finally opened it had scratches on it and a stain and she just gave me crap about wanting to exchange it. And her overall tone and attitude was pathetic if she doesn’t like people or is having a bad day she should not be at work.
