Dave & Buster's Pittsburgh - North Hills

My husband and I hosted a game night with about 20 friends and family members. We easily booked it through Open Table and we all had the absolute best time. Our server, Ashley, was PHENOMENAL. She was very kind, professional and attentive. Our food and drinks were great and the space we had allowed us to enjoy what felt like our own private space near the TVs. It was perfect and we will do it again sometime.

We had fun, but it was way too loud in there. The food was good and the waiter was very nice.

Our experience was phenomenal. Our server (Justice) was just fantastic. We brought our family for our son's 16th birthday and we just had a great time. Justice was incredibly patient, she explained the menu and options well to us. She didn't rush us from our table, and really let us enjoy our experience. Employees like Justice have the ability to make or break the experience and she 100% made it for us. We drove in from WV and we couldn't be happier we drove a little further to dine at the location in the North Hills! Thanks again!

Made a reservation, but they had over seated the dining area and we didn't get seated until well after our reservation time. The wait staff absolutely did their best but they were majorly understaffed. Service and time for food to come out was horribly slow, 2+ hours before we were finished. Portion sizes were drastically smaller with prices increased. $15 appetizer for four small mozzarella sticks? Give me a break.

From the time we were seated, it took 45 minute for our food to arrive. We were not given refills. Husband's fried fish was passable. My "Bar Burgers" were missing the toppings (just thin dry patties with American cheese). Kid's pizzas were OK. Waiter didn't offer any refills on drinks. Manager stopped at the table behind us and loudly complained about how he was so busy he wasn't able to drink or use the bathroom all day. It wasn't great. The games and stuff were all great, but there's zero chance I'm eating there again. $100 was just too much.

Expensive - but… decent food, atmosphere, and fun! But - again… did I say this place was expensive? We went for a meal then games for two hours and spent over $250.

Couldn't find our reservation. Tons of empty tables took 30 min to seat us. Awful service. They apparently don't want money.

BIG PARTY ALERT! Our party of 12 was very disappointed tonight. We had dined here once before and the same situation happened, but we assumed it was just an accident. Now that it has happened again, we believe this is a regular practice they have been doing to customers.
We asked our server for the check, and they brought the tablet over for payment, but we also requested a paper check. The server told us the paper check did not include gratuity. When we compared the two, we realized the paper check did include gratuity—and the tablet had both gratuity and an additional tip added on top.
I went to the manager and asked why an extra tip was included on top of the gratuity. She simply said I could “adjust it” and choose not to pay the additional amount. I explained that the tablet only showed a “close” button, which leads straight to payment, and it didn’t offer an option to decline the extra tip.
The server noticed I was speaking with the manager and immediately came over, and the manager just said the server would “take care of it.” I was shocked at how casually the manager handled the situation and how she seemed to side with the server. We mentioned that the tablet was confusing, and she even admitted it was misleading—but said it like it was completely normal.
Please check your receipts carefully before paying.

This was a last minute plan to celebrate a birthday for my son. The food was good and they had fun with the arcades. The service was so terribly slow. I understand our party of 10 was big, but the place was damn near empty on 11/4/2025. They didn't even have trivia because nobody was there for it. And another thing that was annoying was that I ordered a raspberry tea, was given a frothy unsweetened tea, and immediately ordered a different drink because it was gross. But the original wrong drink was still charged to me. I spent just under $500 on dinner and just over $400 on game play. You could afford to remove the drink that the server got wrong. Even after I asked it to be removed, he (Alfonzo, Alfredo, whatever his name is) came back with a new receipt that had no changes. Do better.

Although everyone was excited to eat here and play games, we found the the order taker to be unengaged or disinterested in our table. I had to take my drink and my disabled friends drink to the bar to get a refill because the attendant wasn't stopping back. I let the bar tender know he had not stopped back another hour later I grabbed the manager he gave no empathy or apology to my guests but did take a drink order. The original waiter came back to serve the drinks reaching over my girlfriend's plate and lighting spilling the drink onto her plate. At no opportunity did the staff members apologize for the service, wait time, lack of attention or spilling the drink. We got a bar staff to check out because the waiter who knows if he would ever return. It was sad because it made really fun place and family experience suck. I did mention to both the manager and the waiter it was guests birthday. None of them acknowledged her or it being special that they we chose Dave & Buster's to celebrate

The arcade is the highlight. There was a surprising amount of people for a Wednesday night, but it wasn't too crowded. Didn't have to wait for games. Dinner was fine and server was very nice. Had a great time with friends!
