As a Trucker I've been to several different bakeries looking for good food to help me out on longer drives and this place is by far one of the best! 10/10 would recommend

Love the anise cookies @ Christmas!†
I always came here with my mum growing up . This is what baked goods should taste like, not like the store bought bakery.
Since moving back to the South Hills, I'm definitely a return customer!!
Thank you, Dave's Terrace Bakery, for generations of treats.

“OPEN” sign is on and the store is closed. The hours listed have the store open also but this place is definitely closed.
Too bad looked like it might be worth trying but won’t be making that mistake again 👎👎👎

Donuts are okay but don't buy bread there unless you want 2 to 3-day-old bread they say it's fresh but it's ice cold I don't know how that could happen unless it was kept in the refrigerator overnight don't think I'll be going there anymore for anything other than

Be careful what you buy.The loaf of bread I purchased at full price was at least two days old. The only thing it could be used for is toast.
When their cakes and breads are freshly made they are delicious.
A while back I purchased a layer cake and it was stale. I took it back and they played dumb. They did recommend buying the loaf cake instead of the round cake, because they sell more loafs. They made the exchange. If they know the cakes are not fresh they shouldn't be selling them at full price.
My wife was sick and finally feeling better and wanted a glazed donut from Dave's. It was around 4:30p when I stopped. Took home the donut, only to be STALE. How sad. Paid full price for a stale donut. I ate it too and it was pretty nasty. Time to go to Dunkin.

I love their perogies!
I have a severe gluten intolerance, but I step in to enjoy the scents. My son has loved every pastry he has tasted, and my husband swears by the pierogies. The staff is always friendly. The coffee isn't the greatest, but it does the job.
Dietary restrictions: No celiac friendly options. ?

Stop in today and bought peanut butter cookies that were at least 4 days old. Dry and no taste.
Bought 1/2 dozen of fudge cookies that the women put in a bag and stacked them so they stuck together. I don’t mind paying for anything that is worth it. When you sell your items that you know are not fresh you should be ashamed. Never again.

Love this place! Always prefer to get any baked goods local from a small business and Dave's always reminds me why. Much better product than the bigger donut shops or large retail bakeries.
