Up and coming in the coffee scene here in PGH. You can tell they care about their craft. I am a home barista and was impressed by how much they knew about their beans, farmers, and advice for pulling shots. You can't find that if you walk into some of the well known cafes in the city.
Great coffee shop! We had a tasty cortado and an espresso tonic, and got a bag of beans to take home. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

One of the best coffee shops in the city! I came with my Honduran fiancé, having heard about what is now the city’s only Honduran coffee shop. We were so pleased to meet the owner and his sister, both from the same region of Honduras as my fiancé 😄 The coffee and food were excellent, with friendly service, good music, beautiful pictures of Honduran coffee farming, and comfortable indoor & outdoor seating. The Honduran coffee is also bagged for sale. The owner is a coffee expert and does a lot the roasting for De Fer.
Go upstairs to the high line (very slightly off from where it’s marked on Google Maps. Google takes you to the street below) and you’ll find it. Calm location with only foot traffic and a view of the river when you exit and walk left.

If you are looking for a spot where you will be just as impressed by the people as you are the ☕️, this is your place. Andrew is phenomenal with his personable and educational style. We learned all about the various farms they get beans from and the processes they use for their place . Delicious lattes and Cortados!! The syrups are not super sweet and are homemade. Absolutely amazing!!! ❤️ 😍

The owner Andrew is extremely knowledgeable on coffee but also his suppliers and their crops. If you love coffee this is your place!!! Their homemade syrups are all fantastic!

My fiancé loves this spot and I can see why! The local owners are awesome and we really enjoy their coffee/matcha! The iced lavender vanilla latte is delicious and they have the best matcha around! Highly recommend!
