I've eaten at Delaney's just one other time and was very happy with the food. I stopped in today for a coffee and treat. I got the almond croissant but was prepared to be disappointed. Too often, when I've purchased almond croissants elsewhere, I find that there isn't enough almond filling.Well, let me just say that I was not disappointed today! The filling went almost to the very end on both sides of the croissant and there was plenty spread all throughout. The croissant is flaky but I wouldn't have cared if it had the density of a bagel. The filling did it for me.Good coffee, service felt a smidgeon slow but it i was in and out in less than 10 minutes so, that was just me. And, the people at the counter were just lovely-- very polite, professional, and pleasant.I would definitely recommend Delaney's for coffee and a treat to start the day. Or for lunch.

Helpful and friendly staff! Chill ambiance with upstairs seating for meetings, work, reading, etc... order the Butterscotch latte and a Tiramisu latte - both delicious!

My husband and I love checking out coffee shops on the weekends. This place was super cute inside with an upstairs loft that would be fantastic to setup and work remotely from. We were there on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and it was fairly busy but not too noisy. My husband had an espresso and I had a cappuccino, we thought they were both above average. The food was decent. It seems like they get their food from a couple of different local places. Overall we really just loved the vibe in here.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. Such a great vibe. My biggest complaint is that other people have found this hidden gem too! A few minutes wait is worth it for such a great place. They do an awesome job working through weekend morning rushes. They make everyone feel like a regular.

Very nice people but nowhere to sit once we got food and didn't have many options for gluten or dairy free people in terms of actual food. Not planning on returning.

Delanie's Coffee is for sure the place to go for coffee and a cozy atmosphere. The staff actually make you feel welcome vs. the forced greetings you get from major market coffee shops.

Great coffee (gingerbread latte is the best), but super unfriendly and slow service.

Place is very cozy welcoming vibe and batistas friendly and helpful. Food is pre-made and warmed up which for the price not thrilled with. Bc of the re heating the English muffin on the sandwich was tough and the whole sandwich got cold quickly . Drink came out after the sandwhich so I couldn't enjoy them together. The drink by itself was yummy and my alterations to the beverage were done nicely.

Great selection all the way from coffee to smoothies to breakfast options. The most genuine, kind, and welcoming staff of any coffee shop I've ever been. A place to work, hang out, and just enjoy. Delanie's will always be my favorite, even when South Side isn't my home!

One of the best coffee shops in the city and definitely the best on E Carson St. Perfect for dates, work, reading, people watching, and of course drinking coffee.
