THIS PLACE WAS MY JAM.
When I lived in Pittsburgh, everyone always wanted to go to Pamela's, but when I tell you THIS was the spot? I'm not joking.
The vibe & service in this location was like a mix of Waffle House & Chick-Fil-A. The waitresses and waiters were always so very kind and treated you like they were hosting you in their own home. A total vibe.
And the FOOD. My goodness. The flavor in the eggs and french toast or pancakes was always top notch - I'm drooling thinking about it right now. I always got cheesy eggs, sometimes bacon & always some sort of sweet treat like french toast or pancakes.
AND I WAS NEVER DISAPPOINTED. You have to check it out if you live in or visit Pittsburgh.

When you get there, you will see a line. There's no need to check in. Just get in line. Don't worry it moves quickly. When you get to the front of the line, they'll ask number in your party. It's worth the wait!

A Pittsburgh staple. I didn't really like the red sauce on the Huevos Ranchero. It tasted like marinara sauce. Sausage was under seasoned, would probably get the hot italian next time.Loved the cinnamon raisin French toast. Cash only.

The reason for the three is my breakfast which was pancakes we brought to the table cold.. Now everyone else’s food at the table was hot… I believe she let the pancake sit until the other food was ready and that’s fine. The other people in my party said the food was excellent. My pancakes were burnt on the edge and they had some kind of green crap on top of them and I have no clue what it was cause I ordered plain pancakes!!! The waitress seated us ask what we wanted to drink two coffee one was water and I had unsweetened iced tea. She brought it back immediately. She was the nicest waitress we had and then we had another waitress who took our order. She Was very staunch, never smiled and said I’ll put it in right now. We waited one solid hour before we ate… place was packed, but I’ll be honest with you. It’s not my kind of place. I believe in my heart with all the people that come here to eat and maybe you could do a little bit of construction and make it a look a little nicer than what it looks like. We tried it will we go back? Maybe the other two people in my party will but I can guarantee I will never!!!
