Have always liked Denny's. Don't eat there as much as I would like, but we must drive to Pleasant Hills which is the closest one for us. Always have very tasty skillet plate meals and a variety of different things 👍. Great soups and desserts. Always friendly staff.

English muffin was burned. Hash browns were undercooked and had a chewy/rubbery texture like they were frozen and yet they’ve also got a stale taste. It wasn’t even busy
I’m actually surprised that the food was better than I remembered. I got the Original Grand Slam and I enjoyed it.

My server (a blonde older woman) and hostess were incredibly rude and unprofessional. My server ignored my party and myself and the hostess kept hiding us away in the corner when we had requested a table on the floor and not next to the restroom. The hostess (an old woman with gray hair) acknowledged the table we wanted and it was available however she pushed us into another corner instead. Following that our server ignored us several times and trauma dumped when we had requested a water about how busy she is and how everyone wants something. She then ignored my husband and myself when we requested a box so we had left no tip. Terrible experience and we were there far too long being disrespected.
