This was our second time eating here. The first time was an amazing first experience which left me wanting more and my husband and I were not let down. The half chicken plate was so juicy with crispy skin and the amazing flavor with potatoes marinated in the same seasoning. Oh my was it delicious. And the cherry on top was our server Caleb who was just so knowledgeable and attentive. He just made our experience here that much more memorable. Highly recommend!!

The food, is five stars all day long. The atmosphere is definitely four stars, but the service is three stars, so this one was very tough to rate. And it’s definitely pricey. Since everything is self serve, you need to be aware of that before you go. And if you need anything while you’re eating, again, self serve, get up & go do whatever you need to do. though I gave it four stars I probably would’ve given 3.75 if it was possible

This is a wonderful hidden gem just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. I wish I would have known about this place years ago. A few co-workers and I came here on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, amazingly flavored, and good portion sizes. We paired this with a good selection of wines from their menu, and it was a great evening out with some teammates I rarely get to see.
We got the fresh bread and olive oil which... ❤️ and was warm and delicious. Our meal wait time was very good, it seemed like just a few minutes and our food was served to us.
They have a slab table, which I'm so jealous of. It's a center slab of a tree that is epoxied and seats about 14 or so people, and is just absolutely beautiful.
10/10 recommend. I'm going to take my wife there on a date night. If you like Italian food, I'd highly recommend this spot.

The food never disappoints and the staff is always friendly. I love the garage doors that they open during the warmer months. The only downfall of DiAnoia's (if I had to find one) is the fact that it gets really loud when they have a full dining room. Nit picking of course, because I would still 100% recommend DiAnoia's to anyone looking for delicious food, friendly staff, a fantastic wine list, and made to order cocktails.

I’ve been here twice and plan on coming back many more times, I’ve never had a bad experience with the food or the staff. Truly is one of the better restaurants in the area and the only Italian place I’d put above it is Alla Famiglia and it’s not by a wide margin.
They’re truly top of their class with what they do and how they treat their guests, top tier food, drinks, and service. The only complaint I can make is we were sat upstairs next to a small party and the room definitely echoed and made the experience a bit louder then it needed to be but isn’t that always how an Italian family dinner is?
Also that’s not something I can fully blame on the establishment, maybe they could do something to make it a bit quieter like fabric but I’m splitting hairs at this point, it’s a wonderful place I will continue to patronize.

If I had one last meal, it would hands down be the Porchetta sandwich from DiAnoia’s Eatery. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, packed with flavor — it’s one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening. Their pasta is always cooked perfectly al dente, rich and comforting without ever being heavy. It feels like the kitchen cares about every single plate that leaves it.
On top of the food, the atmosphere is relaxed but lively — the kind of place where you feel just as comfortable grabbing a casual lunch as you do settling in for a special dinner. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel like a regular even on your first visit.
And the coffee? Fantastic. Smooth, bold, and exactly what you want whether you’re starting your day with brunch or finishing dinner with an espresso.
DiAnoia’s is a rare find because it works for every occasion — brunch with friends, a quick but memorable lunch, or a cozy dinner date. Everything about this place feels thoughtful and authentic. I’d recommend it 100% of the time.

While the food was good and the atmosphere vibrant, the service was slow, sporadic and took away from the dining experience.

Very expensive for pasta and meatballs. The sauce was bland and the meatballs dry.Unfortunately we were so disappointed.
