I was surprised that me and my friends popped in here late night and the service was super quick and the staff was nice even for the place to be packed. The fried crab balls taste like heaven and I didn't want to share with my friends but I did. Next time I go, I'm ordering it for myself. I just love Dive Bar. I love that they have a lot of locations and each one is consistent. We just moved to the South Side and have been stopping in at the Carson Street location. The food is always stellar. I love that they make their delicious dressings in house. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t really enjoy. Service is always great and friendly. One of the few places that makes me want to wake up for another day. Great staff that's professional in a more down low way; often feeling like a friend rather than an unknown worker. Having frequented this location for some time now I've yet to have a disappointing meal and think it might have some of the best values in the city. One of the quickest in having a take out order ready as well.
