This place used to be so good… :( Another review said their sandwiches were “a step up from McDonald’s,” and I thought that was crazy since I remember their sandwiches being fantastic — but they’ve changed their sandwich cheese to American cheese and it overpowers everything else in the sandwich. The bun might be different as well. I hate to agree, but their sandwiches now aren’t much better than your standard fast food sandwich. Save your money!

This has become my favorite spot to grab a coffee or tea in Oakland! They use commonplace coffee, which is easily my favorite in the city. The espresso is never too acidic or bitter, it’s perfectly smooth. They have such fun seasonal flavors and syrups, but my go to is usually just a plain and simple matcha.
