Found this place about 3 weeks ago. Very good hoagies and French fries. The bartender that got my to go was very nice. Looks like a nice place to grab a drink as well.

Great place if you want a dive bar vibe for a fun night with friends. Drinks are super cheap yet tasty, and the staff is always friendly. The food is your typical bar food, but we were impressed with how good it was. We got wings, a flatbread and burger and would re order all of them. Great spot!

I am not sure where to start here or the Pizza Place a Couple doors down that led me to the "Down There Bar and Grill". The name has significance as I did not suspect that I would find such a Jem "Down There". The entrance way stairs seem daunting as it is located in the basement. The service was more than worth the effort of traversing the stairs. I made my way down the on the 12 of Oct 2023 I had just arrived in town (early) to see Atlus at the Crafthouse across the street. To my surprise the place was well lit with a with a little imagination you are very likely to forgot you are in a basement. I met Abby, she was serving the evening I arrived and quickly came oposite to where I had found a place at the bar.. it was not very crowded and thankfully that time of the day I would hope that folks were still at work. Although there were other customers in the bar, I might add much much more younger and equally more local. None the less Abby afford more than ample attention and at one point I may have monopolized her time. See was a very good listener.. you see my disability can make social interact awkward but it clicked with Abbey I told what I was looking for (something in a tall glass that can be enjoyed for a long time, but nothing too fruit. Well I am going to call the drink Abby made for me an Abby" Captain Orange and Ginger Ale. It really hit the spot. Looking back it might have been her very warm beautiful smile that made that place seem not so "basementy". I had the Cheesesteak Sandwich with fries and it was the bomb. I live within 45 minutes from philly and those Tony's, and Lucas's can't touch Ben's Cheese Steak and Fries period.

What a great escape from my day-to-day. The bar is spacious so you aren't being bumped into. the food pricing is average while the taste is above average so you're getting your monies worth. The Bartenders [3] were friendly & funny with their individual personalities. They were extremely attentive in serving everyone and checking on you. What was ment for an hour stay for a drink turned into being there from 9pm until closing at 2am because of the amazing energy of the bar and their entertainment brought to you by Frogstar Karaoke ?. The entire bar was out of their seats and up on stag singing "Country Road." and other song varieties. It was a complete 180 spin from the bleak mood of city life and society. As soon as you walk down the steps like Alice in Wonderland and open the doors, you are transported to a new world! The crowd was filled with a mixed bunch and very handsome gentlemen of all ages. From Sugar babies to Sugar Daddies types. I discovered an accidental blessing hiding in the basement of a strip mall center in White HallParking: Location is in a Shopping Complex with cast [free] parking available.

Trista is the nicest bartender and super friendly. The place is nice and clean as well as nicely decorated. Food was good and overall the experience was great. Stumbled on the place as a fluke and glad we did. Will definitely go back when in the area.

The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are cheap. The music is loud and the atmosphere is rowdy, but in a fun way. If you're looking for a place to let loose and have a good time, then this is the place for you.

Nice staff, good food, and decent prices! What more could you want from a chill bar? Bartender was attentive and friendly. Food was good, didnt get much so cant say much. Atmosphere was very chill and relaxing!

Terrible service! The bar WAS NOT busy and the 2 waitresses working were more interested in talking to a group of 3 men or using their phone. We were a group of 6 and had to wait 20 minutes to get a drink. Also, there were 4 people that left because they couldnt get a food order. Expected so much more based on the reviews. WILL NOT GO BACK!
