When visiting Dunkin' in the USA, the experience can vary. One visit to a Pittsburgh location during breakfast time found the restaurant cleaned out of donuts, bottled drinks, and sugar packets, with a long line of customers. However, the staff worked hard and delivered orders with a friendly attitude. Another customer had a different experience with a particular employee who was perceived as rude and made a frozen coffee with tap water, which is not the norm according to the customer. The manager, however, was praised for handling the situation professionally by refunding the money and properly remaking the drink. Additionally, it seems that communication could be improved as one customer had to approach the staff for a refund after they ran out of doughnuts on a Sunday morning and were told to go through the app for a refund.
