Great spot for good beer

A taproom of a great Pittsburgh brewery right in the Strip district; what more do you want?! And now there's a whole new venue upstairs of the taproom with wine, pizza, etc. Just great.

Great beer selection from local Pittsburgh Brewhouse, friendliest bartender in Town. First time in Pittsburgh love this place

Excellent beers, excellent tap room, and a great bartender who made sure you got something you liked. I really enjoyed the Imperial Shandy, which as far as I can remember, is the first I've ever had.

Nice brewery with nice, local beer selection. We tried their flight of 3 for $10! Great location in the strip district!

We were visiting Pittsburgh from out of town for a concert. I was looking for breweries relatively close to our hotel, so we took an Uber over. What a great spot! The bartender was super friendly, told us a few other good local spots, and we loved the beer. Our favorite was the Hot Wheat, we even brought a few 4 packs home with us. Definitely recommend! I would return if I was ever back in the area :)

I work close to the East End Taproom and I walk past it often. We have been to the main East End Brewery so I know I really like the beer. It's so tempting to stop her during my lunch break but I can't. It was nice to finally be able to stop by on a weekend to try out the Taproom. It's a good space here in the Strip. It was nice out so the doors were open and it's a place that I would come back to. The only thing is they didn't have our favorite beer on tap but it still was ok to try out. I think the bar area and space is a good hangout spot in the Strip. There are a lot of bars here but not good craft beer. So it's nice to have this the Taproom here. They do share the whole building with a few other places but that doesn't bother you here. If you haven't tried a East End Beer and you are in the strip you definitely have to stop in and try them out. You wont be disappointed.

I didn't even realize that East End Brewery had a spot in the Strip, and this location lived up to name with a wide variety of beers on tap, complete with grower refilling. Everything was delicious as I expected. It was a clean and calm interior with a good crowd but efficient service. They also had cans to go. The Taproom also connects to a few neighboring shops.

Best local beer in the strip. They don't serve food but let us snack on the Pittsburgh popcorn company snacks we bought before we got here. Perfect place to chill after food shopping in the strip.

Ok, having trouble with this rating. We were in from out of town and visiting different breweries. We came here and felt unwelcome. The bartender never acknowledged we were here until I walked up to the bar and asked for help. The interaction was sort of kurt and unpleasant. At least the beer tasted great...but sorry you need more these days. One star for the service and an extra starv or the great beer.

Tonight, we took flight. A 3 beer taster of 6 oz. snacks were EXACTLY what the doctor ordered. For just $10, it left room to buy some merch that accentuates my torso in just the right ways, tip the WHIMSICAL bartender wearing the chop/stache combo, and pay off the Pittsburgh Parking attendant who really wanted to tow me. All in all, an incredible flight adventure.

Loved my beer here! Wow. Such a cool location amidst the hustle and bustle of the neighbourhood here. Lots of space and multiple bars inside with a ton of seating. Admittedly I was already a little into the sauce when I arrived so I couldn't remember what I drank here... ... thank god for pictures! You know that expression "Pics or it didn't happen?" well it almost didn't but thanks to Yelp I know that I took a picture of my 3 beer flight and even had the soundness of mind to label the picture with the beers I had. They were: For the Culture IPA, R&R Helles Munich lager, and the Smoked Porter I've fallen out with IPA's as of late but this one was done well, the hint of hops without it being a kick in the mouth. The Helles Munich lager brought back memories of Oktoberfest in Munich a few years back, and lastly there's never been a smoked porter I didn't like - this won out of all of those for being so smokey I felt like i could exhale a drag with each sip. Definitely quality brewers here and I highly recommend if you're in the area!

I love their smoked porter!!!! Sometimes places try a lil' too hard and make 'em taste like cigar beers. Not at East End! A subtle, smooth, smokey porter, without a staunch aftertaste! I also tried the winter ale because ~~'tis the season~~, and it was also fantastic. Chill vibes at this taproom! I'll be going again!
