Great service. Entertainment was great. We had later reservations and did not feel rushed.

The food was very good and the server was very educated on the menu. Everything went as expected for fine dining

The lobster bisque was to die for! The scallops were exquisite. Service was swift and attentive. Eddie V's is our go-to place for a special dinnerm

I took a spontaneous trip from Akron, Ohio just to come dine here again. I was craving the lobster and knew there were GF restaurants there to accommodate my Celiac. I made sure to put a note about being GF in the reservation. It was a little frustrating to be served bread shortly after I sat down. However, I was thrilled to have the veggies and cheese! Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back! Thank you for having a separate “gluten sensitive” menu available. This really helps eliminate the added stress of eating out with such a dietary restriction!

Great as always but service was a little slow and restaurant wasn't that crowded. Not a usual experience for us at Eddie V's but we were hunting a lot for our server.

We made a reservation to celebrate our Anniversary and the table had rose petals and a card was waiting when we arrived. Excellent service and the food was delicious. We had a lovely evening.

I came for the food, but I left lovestruck—and not just from the steak butter. My waiter, Christopher, was absolute perfection. His smile? Michelin-starred. His voice? Smooth enough to make the crème brûlée jealous.

He asked if I wanted sparkling or still water—little did he know I was already drowning in his eyes. The food was incredible as always, but Christopher/Christian was the real main course.

If you see this, Christopher/Christian, know you’ve officially made it onto my “favorite dishes” list. 💙

Experienced Eddie Vs for the first time this week. It was fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely with a live singer / band adding light background music. The service was great. The food was top notch... perhaps best calamari I've ever had. The 22oz bone in ribeye was delicious. I'll mention cheese used in mac n cheese was not my favorite, but that is personal preference, others thought it was great. I would certainly go back to expore the menu. The restaurant is slightly hard to find (road construction and one way streets, etc) but that is downtown Pittsburgh.

We had great service and the food was excellent! The scallops entree was fantastic, perfectly cooked filet, and we always love the crab fried rice. Love the ambiance too! Our favorite steakhouse downtown!

Wow! This truly was an amazing experience. My friend and I were in Pittsburgh for the weekend and I am beyond grateful that we chose to eat here for dinner. The customer service we received from Autumn Heatherington was PHENOMENAL! If you attend please request her as your waitress. She was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the lambchomps and mashed potatoes and my friend ordered the salmon, asparagus , and crab
fried rice.

We sat in the bar and had Ash as our server. This was our best culinary experience out of all of our visits. Everything was outstanding, especially the service.

We had reservations for 7:15pm on a Tuesday night. They had a jazz trio playing in the lounge and I asked that we move into the lounge area with no problem. It was much more romantic and less crowded. We started with oysters, calamari, and sashimi. The food was perfect. She got filet and lobster while I got NY Strip and added scallops. Again, perfect. We ordered two sides, one was crab fried rice and the other was lobster mashed potatoes. Here's my only complaint, the sides were too large! Literally each side could feed 4. Take out boxes were needed, but we were careful not to fill up so we could try the bananas Foster. Again, perfect. The bill for all this was about $330+tip. One of the most expensive meals I've ever had but easily felt the ambiance, food quality, and service were well worth it.

This used to be the best restaurant in Pittsburgh but Bad management ruined it. Ever since new management there has been new hires constantly all the best bartenders and servers left so now the service went down hill. One of the new managers Mike is rude hopefully things will change.

Cheryl did an excellent job. She made the night special. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. WE are looking forward to coming back soon.

Eddie V's is AMAZING, worth every penny and then some. The atmosphere, the personability of the staff, the beautiful soothing live music, and the FOOD, you cannot go wrong. Ask for Liz as your server if you get the chance and you'll never want to leave!
