Food was delicious, music was entertaining ! We had the Eddie tower, my son being named Eddie was very satisfied with his choice .
Terrible incident with wait staff who harassed one of our guests, who also caused a waitress to drop all of her drinks. It was utterly embarrassing
Everything was wonderful! Service was impeccable, food was absolutely delicious and cocktails were perfect!
Truffle Mac and cheese is a must!! Everything was excellent! It was a date night and they had rose petals on the table.
We decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary at Eddie V's. We had dined there before and enjoyed the experience. When we got to our table, it was beautifully decorated with rose petals and had an anniversary card for us. This was such an unexpected, special touch. We started our meal with the wedge/bacon salad and decided to share it. It was garnished with well-done bacon strips and the dressing was freshly made. We both had seafood choices for our entrees - the jumbo shrimp stuffed with seafood and scallops with polenta. The seafood was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. We had the Russian River chardonnay to accompany the entrees. The surprise was the dessert complimentary by the restaurant. It was bananas Foster, 2 chocolate cookies, and a dollop of ice cream. Our server, Leidi (spelling?) was great. She lit the bananas Foster and truly made the dinner have a dramatic and very tasty ending. The restaurant manager, Christine, came over to chat with us and ask us about our dinner. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the seating is not crowded. Valet parking on Oliver Street is convenient. You can go from car to restaurant and not have to carry a coat. We will return and so glad we celebrated our anniversary at Eddie V's!
Great service. Entertainment was great. We had later reservations and did not feel rushed.
The food was very good and the server was very educated on the menu. Everything went as expected for fine dining
The lobster bisque was to die for! The scallops were exquisite. Service was swift and attentive. Eddie V's is our go-to place for a special dinnerm
I took a spontaneous trip from Akron, Ohio just to come dine here again. I was craving the lobster and knew there were GF restaurants there to accommodate my Celiac. I made sure to put a note about being GF in the reservation. It was a little frustrating to be served bread shortly after I sat down. However, I was thrilled to have the veggies and cheese! Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back! Thank you for having a separate “gluten sensitive” menu available. This really helps eliminate the added stress of eating out with such a dietary restriction!
Great as always but service was a little slow and restaurant wasn't that crowded. Not a usual experience for us at Eddie V's but we were hunting a lot for our server.

We made a reservation to celebrate our Anniversary and the table had rose petals and a card was waiting when we arrived. Excellent service and the food was delicious. We had a lovely evening.
I came for the food, but I left lovestruck—and not just from the steak butter. My waiter, Christopher, was absolute perfection. His smile? Michelin-starred. His voice? Smooth enough to make the crème brûlée jealous.
He asked if I wanted sparkling or still water—little did he know I was already drowning in his eyes. The food was incredible as always, but Christopher/Christian was the real main course.
If you see this, Christopher/Christian, know you’ve officially made it onto my “favorite dishes” list. 💙

Experienced Eddie Vs for the first time this week. It was fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely with a live singer / band adding light background music. The service was great. The food was top notch... perhaps best calamari I've ever had. The 22oz bone in ribeye was delicious. I'll mention cheese used in mac n cheese was not my favorite, but that is personal preference, others thought it was great. I would certainly go back to expore the menu. The restaurant is slightly hard to find (road construction and one way streets, etc) but that is downtown Pittsburgh.

We had great service and the food was excellent! The scallops entree was fantastic, perfectly cooked filet, and we always love the crab fried rice. Love the ambiance too! Our favorite steakhouse downtown!
Wow! This truly was an amazing experience. My friend and I were in Pittsburgh for the weekend and I am beyond grateful that we chose to eat here for dinner. The customer service we received from Autumn Heatherington was PHENOMENAL! If you attend please request her as your waitress. She was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the lambchomps and mashed potatoes and my friend ordered the salmon, asparagus , and crab
fried rice.
