Eddie V's Prime Seafood

We went to Eddie V's for our 30th anniversary. We were very impressed with the way we were treated. There was a nice card and rose petals on the table when we arrived, and we were given a complimentary glass of champagne for the celebration. We loved the entire experience and were very grateful for the wonderful treatment we received.

They get to know you and your preferences. Delightful and delicious. When the jazz trio plays in the bar it is perfect atmosphere and they serve Caviar!!

⸻ Eddie V's never disappoints, and this visit was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with fresh flavors and presented beautifully. The service was impeccable, with the staff anticipating every need and making us feel genuinely valued. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the seafood was some of the best we've ever had. As always, Eddie V's delivered an amazing dining experience that exceeded expectations. We can't wait to return!

We sat in the bar area where they have music and had an absolutely wonderful meal. Our server, Mina, was superb and was especially helpful in selecting our dishes. The food was great, in particular, the lemon sole as recommended by Mina. Ambiance was first class but made even more special with the live music. Eddie V's is always a special treat for us.

Everything was great except the what should be the easy part. The asparagus, $17, was terribly overcooked.

Fantastic birthday dinner! Appetizers and steak were absolutely delicious. Live jazz music was wonderful. Wait staff and Mike the Manager did everything that they could to make it special! Thanks so much and we will be back!

We like to celebrate birthdays and nights out in the cultural district at this restaurant. Food is always fantastic. Eating at Eddie V's makes the evening special and memorable. Shout out to Chris for his excellent service. And special shout out to Marvin, for being Chris's wing man.

We chose Eddie V's as the location for a business dinner. Overall, the food was very good, though the Caesar salad was composed of lettuce that had seen far better days and the dressing was strangely bitter. There was no option of fresh anchovies nor were there any croutons. The calamari was shared at the table and was very tasty. Our guest had oysters and stated that they were excellent as were the scallops and parmesan sole entree. The truffle mac n cheese is always a delicious choice. Dessert of bananas foster was supremely good. I felt that the service was a bit rushed and lacking in sophistication for a restaurant at this price point. For example, plates should not be handed to the guest from afar so that the guest needs to reach out to grab their own (hot) plate and place it in front of themselves. Nor should a fresh glass of wine be dumped on top of the remaining wine in the glass. It felt as if our server was rushing us along all evening yet at the same time, didn't really check back at critical moments to see if we needed anything. The ambience is nice, though can become quite loud between the conversation at the other tables and the live jazz from the lounge, so if a quiet conversation is something you are going for, this would not likely be the choice for you. The jazz, however, is as always, delightful.

Excellent evening. Mark was superb! We wanted for absolutely nothing. Michael stopped by to ensure we had the best experience. Great night out!

The lounge area always has great entertainment and a good vibe. Our server Sam did a phenomenal job and was very friendly and attentive. This place is always consistent with food and service and has great energy – I would highly recommend! 

I've been to probably half a dozen Eddie V's across the country and I've gotta say this one was very nice and had a outstanding staff! Drew our waiter was exceptional and made my wife and I have an even better experience than we would have had. I really appreciated that and would highly recommend this location if you're in Pittsburgh for business or pleasure.

We celebrated our anniversary here and had an amazing experience. The food and drinks were fabulous and our server Hank was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Damn good steak. Worth it.

I keep my reviews short and sweet. This restaurant is a bit pricey but it is worth it for the excellent vibe and ambiance with live music and classy decor and lighting. Food is excellent and staff are even more delightful and accommodating, it is obvious they hold high standards here. Came here for my wife’s birthday and definitely will be returning on another occasion to try more menu items.
