Absolutely incredible tacos! The food tastes great and the wait staff is so nice!
I texted them about 2 hours in advance (as requested on their website) with what I'd like to order and the food came within 10 minutes of my arrival.

What a cozy corner of Squirrel Hill. This is a thoughtfully run restaurant with very lovely staff and service. It's slow, so be prepared for that. And they include a service charge but don't tell you, so don't feel the need to tip on top of that. But the food is consistently good and I feel good supporting this little locally-run business.

It was very clean. The lady that served us and the gentleman that cooked for us were extremely kind and helpful to my sister and I. The food was fantastic and tasted so super fresh!!! My sister came in all the way from Israel and it was our first experience here and I know that I will definitely be back!!! Thank you Cafe Eighteen!!

We had a wonderful meal. The owners are so nice and kind. The food was really tasty and the fries were crispy! Best of all, they were so accommodating for a gluten free diet and have a dedicated fryer for gluten free fries.
Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free fryer for the French fries! They were very accommodating for a gluten free diet and there are lots of options.
Kid-friendliness: They have coloring materials for kids to use.

I am very unhappy with my experience here:1. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive at our table, which is unacceptably long.2. Our food was not warm when it arrived.3. We were forced to pay an ADDITIONAL 19% fee on top of the original price for our table. Our waitress did not tell us about this additional fee; if she did, we would not have eaten there. The prices are already high ($20+ for burgers), and the average tip, in addition to the 19% fee are simply unreasonable. The food was good, and I enjoyed my meal. However, the wait time and unnecessary fees left a very bad taste in my mouth. I will tell people not to come to this restaurant.

Everyone was extremely friendly here and I had a delicious pastrami burger to go that was cooked exactly per my request.

food was super delicious. Good service. wait was kind of long. Great place to have delicious kosher food, but not so much a place for a fancy date. place is still 5 stars in my book!

Food was very good. Had to wait tooo long. As the only Glatt Kosher meat restaurant in Pittsburgh, I don't know if they have reliable clientele but was short staffed when I was there. This is a book store that turns to a restaurant in the evening.

The food was amazing and delicious! I got the hummus and tahini plate to start and the phili burger and fries. The atmosphere was unique and a perfect space to truly enjoy your meal. I will be going back anytime I’m in Pittsburgh!
