My family of 8 had dinner here and we all enjoyed it. Just keep in mind that if you ask for water they give you bottled water

Wow. Glad the place we originally planned to go was closed. Huge burrito with egg and chorizo for $10.95!! Wife got the pastor which was so flavorful.

Lovely mugs for the coffee and friendly waiter!

We had a mixed experience at this place. I really wanted to come here and leave it 5 stars, but I had two issues that may keep me from coming back. The aguas frescas, chips, queso, and guacamole were amazing— but the entrees fell flat. We ordered the Huaraches and Tlayudas. They were both covered with lettuce and tomato and that was not listed on the menu, (my partner hates both.) We didn’t complain. When management came by to ask how everything was, I told her that we loved the Huaraches but not the Tlayudas. That was all I said. It was overly salty and we took two bites out of it. She replied with “Oh! Ok.” and walked away. We were fully charged for that dish even though we didn’t eat it. I’m in the service industry, and when a guest doesn’t like a dish you try and find a solution— she didn’t try and that gives me little confidence to try this place again. We wanted to order dessert, but decided not to as we were dissatisfied. I would love to give the place another chance, but I need to know that I would be cared for differently in the future. Besides that we enjoyed the atmosphere and our waiter was helpful.

Very authentic. Huaraches, tlayudas and shrimp cocktail is the stuff to get. We will be coming back pretty often (already twice!)

Cool little restaurant! It seems to be family owned, and the food tastes homemade. I asked for hot sauce, and they brought a cup of stuff they made themselves, rather than a bottle of store-bought sauce. Impressive!

Staff was incredibly friendly and the food is top tier. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food in Pittsburgh, this is the place to go. I haven't had Mexican food this good since I lived in the south. I've only ordered from there once before, but this is definitely my new go-to spot.
