Absolutely overjoyed to have authentic mexican in my neighborhood! As I was born and raised in California, I know the real deal when I taste it and everything we had was truly the best I've had in the 18 years I've lived in Pittsburgh! We look forward to when the dining room opens but in the mean time we will continue to take out and try everything!

If you read nothing else in this review, go get the enchiladas verdes. Their homemade salsa verde is full on amazing - it does have a little bit of actual heat to it. The black beans are also super good. Tostadas come with just a tiny bit of mayo on them, which I hadn't had before, and it's really interesting (in a good way). Of the tacos, chorizo is my favorite. And their flan is great. Prices feel a little high but food costs have definitely gone up all around.The enchiladas de mole are also good, as was the huarache when I tried it. We go about once a week and love having a Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Right now it's takeout only but they plan to open a dine-in restaurant with more options in the near future. Sometimes they have specials, like conchas or champurrado, so definitely ask about those!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options for most menu items, except enchiladas, I believe. The black bean tostada is excellent!
Quick, very good food, and the prices are cheap. I got full on 16 dollars and everything was excellent. Thier food is to go and they pack it nice and neat and i felt very comfortable going in there to get my order. Im going to stop there everytime im on that side of the river without question.Parking: There is paid parking on the street i was able to pull almost right in front.

Purchased 2 steak burritos , rice & beans w/ 2 jarritos I’m from Cali and been looking for good Mexican food in Pittsburgh it was like a 7/10 only because they low key expensive but the owner was super cool & food was still good .
The restaurant is conveniently located near my home and I will definitely be back soon to order

Hands down, the best Mexican food i have ever had in my life. The steak and barbacoa tacos are my favorite, but you can not go wrong ordering anything from this place. The staff always greets you with a smile and very quick service. I can not say enough good things about this place.

El Rincón is my favorite place in Pittsburgh! I've been going to the food truck for a while now, and I'm so happy I could finally make it out to Carrick to try out the new restaurant. The tacos are always fresh, and the carnitas melt in my mouth. I had the agua de piña last night as well, and it was perfect! I love these guys so much; best of luck with the new restaurant :)
