I gave 5 stairs for atmosphere, but I don't really know. We door dashed. This place is phenomenal. I'm sorry we waited so long guacamole is simple..but hard. They nailed it. Better than homemade. Street corn, fabulous. Yucca fries...killer with a fantastic sauce. Baha burrito and steak fajitas just melted in your mouth. Pittsburgh isn't great for Mexican This place is! Highly recommend!

Absolutely Delicious! El Sabor never disappoints and is always amazing. They have the best food! Authentic and creative, the tacos are so good and the platanos rellenos is my favorite dish. It’s always a great time. I recommend here or the sister restaurant Buenatarde every time my friends mention wanting tacos. The ownership is amazing and the staff always works so hard to create memorable experiences! 10/10

Vegetarian options: Tofu and veggies. Delicious!!

Dietary restrictions: No nuts in house, good about shellfish allergies. Lots of vegetarian options!

Service was excellent, while a good looking menu, the tacos were a bit so-so.

I basically only ever get the pastor tacos Tijuana style but they are delicious and always hit the spot and the service is always so friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp out front and low tables that can have chairs moved for wheelchair access

Happened to see this restaurant at the corner of two streets while driving through Pittsburgh during a Saturday afternoon so we decided to stop in for a few drinks. It wasn't very busy when we arrived but within an hour it was packed with people. Seems like a place where locals go to meet and hang out.

With dinner plans at a steakhouse, we didn't order anything to eat but the menu had a plenty of selections at reasonable prices. If we're in the area again, we'll probably try their food. Based upon our experience, I would recommend this restaurant.

Lovely place with very good service and drinks, but the main meal was disappointing for both of us. Too much salt and not enough flavor.

Girlfriend and I tried this place about a year ago. We had terrible service and haven’t been back. Decided to give it another try thinking we just had a bad experience. We were seated and given menus. She came back after a few minutes with waters and immediately left without asking if we wanted alcohol. We sat for another 10 minutes without being attended to. There was only 3 other tables that already had their food. They were more worried about cleaning tables and placing the takeout orders on the shelf. Decided to give a few more minutes. After we saw our waitress standing in the doorway scrolling on her phone we decided to leave. Don’t recommend.

I got the steak fajitas for $17.99, and it tasted pretty good. There was not a lot of steak whatsoever to justify the price, though. It was probably 80%-90% veggies. The waiter was very kind, just a bit forgetful with a few items. I had to wait for my tortillas after already receiving the plate of fajitas.

The biggest reason I don't think it deserves a 4/5 is due to the "CONVINCE FEE" for using a credit card. Yeah, it's less than a dollar, but c' mon, it's 2024. Are you really going to charge me extra to use a credit card? Yeah, no, I don't recommend this place. They're just trying to squeeze out a little extra out of everyone with less food and charging you extra money for paying with a card.
