Fat Head’s in Pittsburgh isn’t just a burger joint—it’s a temple of meat and joy. I went for the ‘South Side Slopes’ burger, and I swear it was engineered in a lab to make cardiologists cry and grown adults weep with happiness. Juicy beef, a mountain of kielbasa, onions, and cheese so good it should have its own zip code. Come hungry, leave happy, and probably a little dizzy—but in the best way. Oh and Beer!!!!!!! Get u some.
Decided to give Fat Heads a try after seeing it in our Airbnb Hosts guide book. Arrived on a Tuesday night around 7:00 and was told there was a 45 minute wait for a table. While waiting the hostess took the time to walk us through the menu giving us alot of good suggestions. A table opened after only 15-20 minutes. Service at the bar was fast, and very friendly. All 3 of our dinner selections were excellent. There is also a very large selection of draft beers.
I love fatheads so much. Their food and drinks are so good. I will say we are upset about the menu changes. We miss the onion rings (our favorite), fried pickles, fried mushrooms, ect. I honestly came here just for the apps many times.
