We had the best time celebrating my husband's Birthday with friends! Kendall was an amazing server and the food was phenomenal!! Will certainly return.
Our server was Dominic and he was perfect- knowledgeable, polite, funny, fast, and just wonderful.
Our waiter was outstanding and overall enjoyed our experience! Unfortunately, the cocktails and entrees took longer than they should have. We started with the calabrese pesto and focaccia which came quickly and was 10/10. Caesar salad was yummy and big enough to share. My husband got the chicken parm and it was EXCELLENT and the biggest chicken parm portion we've ever seen. I had the duck entree- it was okay. I ordered it medium and the dish came out not hot and medium rare. I'll try something else next time.
Group of four had a wonderful experience dining outside. Service from our waitress was wonderful - she made the experience even more pleasant. Whipped rocotta and buckwheat bread is not to be missed as a shared starter. Dinners arrived a bit late but was totally worth the wait. Everything was cooked to perfection. Chicken parmesan was excellent and portion large enough for another meal at home. Rack of lamb and mushroom pasta dish also wonderful. Sides are large enough to share. Restaurant Group surcharge added to the bill was questionable since prices already on the high side. But overall a great place for a special night out.
The service was excellent the food was even better. Every bite was amazing. If I could afford it, I would eat here quite often.
Loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and our server was super nice. Will definitely be back.
Food and ambience was excellent. Could use some ceiling fans on the outdoor patio. Service was good - but drinks took awhile. The food was excellent and most things priced well. Chicken parm was delicious but $38 with no sides is a little pricey...and I am not cheap. I will definitely go back.
The food was pretty good, but the service was very slow. We had to find the manager to request our bill and boxes so we could leave after waiting over 30 minutes for someone to come by!
We had our first dinner here with another couple and we were very impressed. The cocktails and wines were interesting and well-done(although the wine list was pretty pricey). We started with the focaccia and the white bean dip and both were well done, however the Caesar salads and pastas are really what impressed us. The manager also brought over a couple of very beautiful Sicilian wines for us to try when our second bottle of wine needed to be chilled. The tastes were paired with what we were eating and it really made the experience feel special. (We also loved the wines!) We will come back again and sit at the bar to do something more casual too.
By far our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. Fry was an incredible waiter and gave us amazing recommendations! We had the foccacia bread, the Calabrese pesto dip, the bucatini, the rigatoni, and the chicken parm. Ending the night with a tiramisu was perfect! You MUST come here!

The food is always great, from the apps to main course to dessert Our server Sarah was helpful, attentive and friendly
Phenomenal experience. Unassuming building but when you walk in beautiful surroundings. The food was some of the best dishes I've had. The focaccia is an absolute must and got the pesto dip which was so creamy and perfect. The artichokes were also very good but the show stopper was the meatballs. They say spiced but more autumn spiced. The chicken parm my husband got was amazing and huge. The service by I think “Kevin” was outstanding. It was my mom's birthday and he went beyond in letting her taste two wines so she could decide and then a champagne toast. He gave great recommendations and he and another server were on top of it the whole dinner. Highly recommend!!!!!
We had a fantastic dinner at fish nor fowl! The apps, drinks food were all delicious. The foccacia bread was amazing. The staff is very attentive and warm. Great experience!
First time here and great experience overall! Service was excellent and loved the ambience. Our only complaint was both of our entrees were way too salty, but the bread and dessert were fabulous. Great spot for birthdays and will be back!
Theee of us ordered and shared many dishes, then we each had a different main dish. All were spectacular! Service was great, prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely go there again!
