Moved to S Hills area 11 years ago from out of state. Been driving past Frank and Shirley’s quite often. 1st time in was on 10-3-25. So sorry we never ate here before! Greeted w friendliness immediately by a nice young man who said sit anywhere. He followed us to our table w menus and offered us beverages asap. Frank & Shirley’s was extremely clean! We were in Pittsburgh for a few days to attend a concert and learn the city. After the casino, a concert, and a couple hungover nights we were hankering for some breakfast diner comfort food before the 5 hour drive home. We scouted a few local antique shops and stumbled upon this place searching for quick food nearby…boy am I GLAD WE DID! Frank & Shirley’s has that classic diner feel that we really enjoyed. When we first arrived, there was a bit of a wait before our server came to take our order, but once she did, everything went smoothly. The food was excellent—our eggs, bacon, and sausage were cooked perfectly, and the pancakes were delicious. We were a bit surprised by the final bill (about $50 for two adults and a toddler), especially since the side of bacon was a little pricey, but we understand that...
