We stopped here from out of town. We were made very welcome by the staff, who seem to know their regulars by name. Super friendly. Tasty food. Definitely recommend. House made chips are the best. It's not the speediest of service, so come prepared to slow down and relax. I'll definitely return for coffee and breakfast.

Amazing food and the owner is an absolute gem

If you want to have one of the best days of your life, stop in here. The atmosphere is beautiful and so cozy. The people behind the counter make this experience 10x better! From the cook to the food runner/ busser, such an outstanding place. It makes it even more heartfelt when the owner walks around and creates a very welcoming environment. My girlfriend and I stopped in for an hour and talked with Nick and it felt like we knew him our entire lives. Such a beautiful place.

Has anyone else had an experience here with the turbocharged “decaf” coffee? I love this place but cmon guys :,( I can’t sleep

This was the first time I've ever been to Pittsburgh. I went to perk and brew for breakfast a few times and it was great 10 out of 10 the service was top notch and very friendly, they gave me and my friends great spots to go see. If ur in Pittsburgh definitely give them a try , best chicken and waffles I ever had hands down.

The food and the coffee was delicious! Just happened to stop by and was impressed.

What a great little breakfast place! My friend and I were staying in Pittsburg for the weekend and wanted to grab a nice breakfast before leaving. This was the perfect place!

The owner was so friendly, and really took the time to get to know his customers. I can’t even tell you how many people came in that he knew and that also knew him. I laughed so hard just having a few small conversations with him. I wish I lived in that neighborhood because that would be my go to coffee spot. The food was delicious, espresso was good!
