First time having this today, just delivered about an hr ago. And they DID NOT disappoint. My boyfriend swears by this place, and boy was he right. Feel like this is going to be a weekly dinner in our house! Thank you
I wanna share the experience of the terrible behavior and unprofessional attitude I got from the owner of Frisch’s !! I was at work and I ordered two fish sandwiches and I asked the girl kindly to please leave the bun separately I said nicely two or three times so that she would remember when I requested so they don’t get soggy and I also asked her to please package the two fishes separately since they were for two different people. I ordered it to get delivered to my work And told her I wasn’t eating till 7 o’clock so it would be hours before I got to eat when it came they were not package like I asked it has nothing to do with the driver. I tipped her seven dollars and it’s not her fault so I asked to have a phone call back please and no one called me so when I called back again on my way home, the owner got on the phone and start getting extremely smart with me instead of saying she’ll address the problem. She said that she’s so busy. She don’t have time for this and she’s not in the mood for this and was questioning me. Why I was getting upset with somebody doing something incorrect. I order from this restaurant for the last four years at least two or three times a week that will now change of how I was treated by the owner was so unprofessional. I will definitely pass the word cause word-of-mouth is how you get your best business and your worst.
Have been going there fir 40 yrs. Usually pick up or salad from bar. 5 x out of 10 my order is wrong!! Today again. I have called each time, owner doesn't care, ignorant, no refunds or replacements ever!!!

Great deli and restaurant. Be sure to check out the pizza & hoagies (Mon,Tues) and roasted chicken (Wed, Thur) specials.
My daughter and I had lunch today at Frisch’s. We actually got a cheeseburger on a brioche bun and split it. We each had a bowl of soup. I had chicken Pastina and she had a beef vegetable soup. Everything was very delicious. And the woman who brought our food was very friendly and kind and willing to split the burger in half for us and put it on two plates. It wasn’t super busy and we had a lot of attention at our table clearing away any dirty plates, etc. I would definitely recommend it. And I plan to take my husband there for lunch soon. I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews and I am kind of confused by them. I say go and decide for yourself. Our experience couldn’t have been better.

My family has been customers of Frisch’s since it was located near Baldwin Courts. The last few times we have been here, the staff was very rude. I asked a simple question to someone and I felt like I was bothering them. When they turned around I heard the employee tell someone in the back that I was a “dumba$$”. The food itself has went downhill big time and the food is never ready when they say it’s going to be. After 40 years of being customers, we are officially done. Jack would be so disappointed to see what has become of his place.
Do they still charge 25 cents for a soft drink refill?
Couldn’t believe they did this last time we were there.

Ordered chicken to eat in and to go. Usually go with former coworkers every month. Waited 45 minutes to be served while others after us were given chicken dinners. Everyone who was with us who didn't order chicken were almost done. I ordered a takeout was a breast dinner and they rung it up wrong and had to have them fix it and then they gave me a chicken dinner for my takeout . Had to have that fixed. When my friend asked what was going on she was told we're backed up and not nicely. Neither one of us even got a simple sorry. I had to get my order I was eating there in a box because everyone already finished eating.We will be taking our Monthly dinner elsewhere. VERY disappointed.

Good food, bad service, and even worse on the price. $14 is for a reuben.. Maybe they should Care about the customers a little more and maybe you would get a five. Tone, personality, an attitude is everything.

I wish I could give zero stars for the absolutely horrendous customer service I experienced at this store. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off—cold, unwelcoming, and completely unprofessional. But the worst part was the little blond girl working in the hot food section.
From the start, she had an attitude that made it clear she had no interest in being there or providing decent service. She was dismissive, unfriendly, and seemed more focused on enforcing unnecessary rules than actually helping customers. There was no line—literally NO ONE else was waiting—but she insisted that we hold a number for our order. Seriously? What’s the point of that when it’s obvious we’re the only ones there? It felt like she was just being difficult for the sake of it.
The entire experience was so frustrating and uncomfortable that we ended up leaving the store without even taking our food. Yes, we PAID for it and still walked out because we didn’t want to spend another second in that awful environment. That’s how bad it was.
I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a store before, and I can confidently say we will NEVER be coming back. If management actually cares about their business, they should take a hard look at the employees they hire—especially in customer-facing roles. Based on this experience, they clearly don’t value their customers at all.

How does it take 30 minutes to get a 2pc fried chicken dinner from a place that literally specializes in fried chicken on a Saturday at lunchtime?
Don't stop here if you have any plans to go elsewhere quickly after you leave.
Soup and food was excellent,.. but unengaged checkout staff and loooong wait times for the main meal decreases customer satisfaction in the quality of the food / experience decreases customer ratings across the ratings. Add to that, that the counter staff who chose / were unaware / or deemed the 30 minute wait not worth mentioning to their customers severely reduces the viability / ratings of this as a fast-casual dining experience. Pity...
Remember that "Family Owned" can be a double edged sword... There's only three out of nine relatives I would hire if I had a business...

Very rude young lady .
I ordered 2 Fish DINNERS and i know it comes with 2 sides so i said ill have soup and fries and then i looked at ny husband he said ill have mashed and she says you cant have them its eith soup or fries . And twice she sai you ordered #1 NO I ORDERED 2 FISH DINNERS. So when the young man brings our food its 2 fish sandwiches thats not what i ordered!! I said forget it just leave it. This is the 2nd time we were very disappointed. I dont think we will be back. We just packed the food and went home.
