Tao was a bit of a disappointment last night. It wasn't even packed and we wait a for the table for about 30 mins. The host was to find us in the lounge but had to go to the host desk to say I'm here! Then we walk by to the lounge to find the young lady who is doing a terrible job at looking for us. The other host had to tell her things who you are looking for then she just gives us a glazed stare and snaps out of it and says oh please follow me. The server was ok, not...
I had a great experience however one of my food options where the vegetable fried rice which gave a very crisp/ burnt taste however when I ask the the server about it she stated it was the olive leaves. I highly wouldn't recommend !!! Taste very burnt. other than that food was great !
Had an amazing Valentine's Day dinner at TAO! Started with Lychee Martinis (delicious) Had salmon and scallop maki rolls that were incredibly fresh, and the spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice was a 5/5 — absolute perfection. The dynamite lobster Tokyo tacos were also 5/5 and packed with flavor! We also had the Shanghai fried rice (solid 5/5) & we ended with the Matcha Crème Brûlée and calamansi donuts (4/5), which were the perfect sweet finish! Great food, great vibe...
