Absolutely the best. The canneles are my favorite! The macarons are always amazing! A real treat every time I’m in Pittsburgh!
Ive had their pastries and macarons since 6-7years ago. I recently tried again and I felt the quality went downhill. Macarons were not smoothly finished and i was given cracked macarons. This is considered expensive dessert but i think quality does not match to even 6 dollar grocery store frozen macarons.
So great that it's open late.
I have been to Gaby et Jules several times over the last two years and have never had a bad experience! My kids (who are usually picky) love trying their seasonal desserts, especially the ones shaped like fruit. The macarons are beautiful and delicious, we love the almond and salted caramel. Our absolute favorite menu item, though, is the Canale! They are perfectly caramalized and chewy on the outside, and soft and sweet inside almost like a bread pudding. My husband begs to stop for them everytime we're in the neighborhood! We had an employee tell us once that if we came to the baking location early enough, we could get them while they were just baked and still warm and they were somehow even better that way! I constantly reccomend them to friends and family looking for unique and beautiful French pastries and will remain a customer.
Beautiful shop, friendly service.
Their winter pastries were outstanding and the first thing I had here.
Came back today and tried the heart and the pear. The pear desert was ok, slightly weird texture. The heart pastry was just... bad. I think it may have just been a bad batch. I can't imagine a pastry chef having tasted what I bought and saying "yeah this is great, charge people money for this".

I love this patisserie! The sweets are so well done and delicious, I've enjoyed everything I've gotten but my undeniable favorite is the cappucino eclair.

I’ve bought their macarons at the Airport thinking nothing of it. Turned out to be arguably the best macarons I’ve had. I lived in San Francisco for 3 years and I haven’t found macarons this good. We’ve been ordering them online and they ship them across the country.

The almond croissant, which has been a bit of a challenge to get your hands on, is a perfectly balanced treat. The Canelle is another excellent sweet treat. The macarons are very soft and just vaporize in your mouth. Overall, a great little place in Squirrel Hill.

I visited Gaby et Jules yesterday and had such a pleasant experience. Gus, the cashier, was incredibly helpful and talkative. He answered all my questions about the products without any issues. The almond croissant was absolutely to die for—the almond paste was incredibly tasty. I also tried two macarons- raspberry and salted caramel , the Paris-Pittsburgh, and a Canelé. While the flavor and texture of the outside of the Canelé were on point, the inside didn’t have the signature spiderweb-like structure, and the batter was stuck at the top with the bottom slightly burnt/caramelized. Overall, still a lovely visit. The macaroons were pretty good and I loved the texture of Paris-Pittsburgh. It’s not common to come across a hazelnut dessert in Pittsburgh so it’s always a nice treat.
