Absolutely the best. The canneles are my favorite! The macarons are always amazing! A real treat every time I’m in Pittsburgh!

As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted and warmly welcomed by Chloe (hostess). I ordered a cappuccino and a plain croissant and they were both wonderfully prepared and presented. Really enjoyed my visit and plan to come back many more times!

Tried canele, choquette and millie and they were indeed very nice. The crust, custard and puff of them must be authentic and of very high standard :)

Gaby et Jules Café is a charming bakery that truly stands out with its strong sense of family tradition. It’s amazing to see how this family-owned business has been passed down through generations, with the mother, son, and daughter working together seamlessly. Their dedication shows in the quality of the delicious pastries and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every visit feels personal and special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic French treats with a touch of family love!

As a tourist in the City, I planned to grab delicacies on my way home to VA- from Penn Ave location. I arrived at the time the website said it opened (10 am). I arrived to an unopened store, lights off and peeking in- saw no pastries in the coolers. I contacted the store to find out when it was opening so I could possibly wait. I received no call back until now.... about 1 pm. I appreciate the call back but I have just been scolded by the owner for not visiting another store instead? I was told that I could have placed an online order for pickup. Not sure how the owner feels it would have been possible to grab my potential order if the store wasn't open? As a visitor to Pittsburgh, I planned my exit around what the website told me was the opening time. I depended on that. I suggested that it may have be helpful to adjust hours on the sites if the owner knew an employee wasn't arriving on time. They responded with "impossible". I am sure that the pastries are scrumptious but dealing with someone that throws blame back on a customer for NOT KNOWING THE CITY, MAGICALLY KNOWING THEIR STORE WASNT OPEN AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, KNOWING THEIR OTHER LOCATIONS AND ACTING LIKE I AM STUPID FOR NOT ORDERING AHEAD is not a business that I will visit now.

The oolong tea florets are delicious! It’s very refreshing, not overly sweet, and it’s worth it~ I’ll try other flavors after I’ve tried it :)

We loved everything we got here! My husband, who doesn’t like macarons, really enjoyed the macarons. We also got the raspberry tart and Paris-Pittsburgh and thoroughly enjoyed both. The Paris-Pittsburgh just melts in your mouth. Both have a delightful flavor :) we will definitely be bringing our friends and family here when they come to visit!

Eclairs are so delicious. Other desserts are also delicious. The coffee is also great. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. I want to go back and try all the other menu items. Even my husband, who doesn't like desserts, enjoyed it and said it was very delicious.

A very modern patisserie with a large selection of macarons. Breads, cakes, tartlettes, and various other pastries. Hot and cold teas and coffees as well as soft drinks and juices. Limited seating, but acceptably handicap accessible. On street paid parking only.I came with a group, and we tried a large variety of treats. My sister loved the little pumpkin treat that they had shaped like a pumpkin. My father adored the lemon tartlette so much that he had seconds. My tea was served so hot that it was not drinkable until much later, and I found the tartlette to be too heavy with the crust. However, I very much enjoyed the macarons. They have an amazing variety of macarons and seem to carry seasonal flavors. The shop itself was clean and neat with a very modern look. The service was fast and friendly. The packaging for the macarons we took home was good, as it was both sturdy and nice looking.

Wheelchair accessibility: This is wheelchair accessible and handicap friendly.

The bakery offered an extensive range of flavors, from classic to inventive. I appreciated the balance between traditional favorites like raspberry and the daring, such as Earl Grey and salted caramel. There was something for everyone, and I couldn't resist trying them all.

After living 8 years in France ?? , I gave it a chance to this French Patisserie. I tried eclair and mille-feuille. Éclair was okay but the Mille feuille was not fresh and didn’t like it. An ordinary patisserie in France would make it better. I think the prices are a bit high. You can also find French baguette, various tarts and croissants over there.
