the house burger was terrible. no seasonings not even salt and pepper. that's cooking 101. everybody knows that. it also says on the menue choice of cheese. the waiter didn't ask me what cheese I wanted. and finally it says burger sauce on the menu I did not receive sauce on my burger. $15 bucks for a burger my 14 year old son could have made.

Self serve everything, was told to get coffee from the lobby and then had to notify the server it was empty. Artificially colored eggs were poured from a carton instead of being cooked to order from real eggs. Cold mass produced "French toast" from some package was disgusting and only heated by a candle under the large pan so 90% cold. Sausage and bacon were both good and deserved better other everything. The breakfast was definitely not worth the $18 price tag other than in someone's wild imagination. Skip eating at this Crown Plaza hotel and find any other local restaurant. Not worth the effort of taking pictures

Loved this place! I have been wanting to stay at the property for quite sometime due to my commute. I decided to check out the Restaurant & Bar and was greeted with such lovely staff. Connie could not have been more hospitable with her knowledge of drinks, conversation and amazing service. Scott, Food & Bev.Manager was highly impressive as well. His professionalism on top of personality and knowledge of the f&b world was an enjoyable experience. I will be back weekly if not monthly thanks to Connie & Scott. This is a truly a hidden gem with amazing food & service! Beautiful property! Thanks Connie & Scott!!

We had the breakfast buffet. It was adequate but wasn't particularly high quality or variety. Coffee selection was limited.

Great restaurant, great food and good fun staff. You should make a reservation, it is busy even during the week. Very tasty beers. Modern-rustic

Had breakfast while staying at this hotel. It was decent but would not have been worth the advertised price of $17 if it hadn't been included with the room.

Room service is lazy eating and from Gather Restaurant in the Crowne Plaza good lazy food. Late night hamburger really hit the spot.
The waitress told us items that would be on the buffet that were never put out. Also, the serving trays went empty and stayed empty for quite some time. We also waited over 20 minutes before walking to the front desk and asking them to take our check. Wrote out a comment card but I'm not sure if it will be submitted. The food that was available was bad. The potatoes were raw in the middle and the eggs were watery.

Look, this is a hotel restaurant. Their breakfast is basic and filling, No great shakes. If you do the buffet you will not see much of your server. I have no complaints but, truly this is just an average place.
The Gather Restaurant was a delightful experience. Fabulous staff. Great atmosphere. Good food. Prices were pretty steep but the potions and quality of food were good. We had a quesadilla appetizer. I had a Cuban sandwich. It was nearly perfect. My wife loved her bacon burger. The quesadilla was fantastic.my beer was not as cold as I would have liked. They let me bua couple of bottles of beer to take to my room. Nice ending to a great experience.
Worst Mother's Day experience ever. I am not sure how this happened, but I made the reservation for 5 people on Open Table. When we got to the restaurant, there was a line of people, all who were complaining that they made reservations AND called to ensure the reservation. But we got to the restaurant, we found out that the restaurant had just broken down the buffet they had prepared for Mother's Day, and now were setting up for dinner. They explained that they weren't taking any customers between four and six because they had to prepare for dinner. But our reservation was for 4:30! Coming into the hotel with a 90 year old woman and a child with autism, and having to change plans was not fun. Instead of apologizing or offering us an alternative, the manager suggested that we probably made reservations for the Downtown restaurant! That is impossible, because the reservation had the exact Fort Couch address attached to it. The other two families that were ahead of us had the same problem. It looked like a nice restaurant inside the hotel. Unfortunately, it not only inconvenienced us a little... Being Mother's Day, it is impossible to get a table without reservations in the South Hills. It threw off the child with autism, who refused to go anywhere else. Totally ruined the night.
The food was good, I had the quinoa salad. Others in my group had sandwiches. Everything seemed fresh. The drinks were extremely pricey, $11 for a glass of wine or mixed drink.
great service at the bar by Abby, she was tremendous, very courteous and friendly. highly recommend the Bloody Mary
