As a Point Park student, this place is a go to. It's one of the only food places within walking distance of campus that is open late. The food is so good and there is so much to choose from!

Fairly standard pizza shop. A bit mediocre, but it’s not bad, and certainly a few highlights even. They are open very late and the location is interesting (Boulevard of the Allies). I tried the classic cheese calzone and their cannoli.Their calzone came in a solid size. It was a bit soggy, but not insanely so. Some of the cheese was also in clumps, which made for a bit of a strange texture. But overall, it wasn’t a bad calzone. Not too bready, and not too oily. Good size. Price was fair enough too.I really quite liked the cannoli. I’m not sure if they are homemade (probably not), but the cannoli cream on the inside was very tasty. Although it was a tad stale, I still enjoyed the dessert. The chocolate felt a bit plasticy though. You get 2 per order. All in all, this is a pretty good spot for pizza and other such items. Prices are fine, portions are solid, and it’s open very late. Nothing crazy, but solidly tasty.Kid-friendliness: Classic pizzas and burgers kids would like

Large portions, and their dough is very well-made and delicious. I got a Chicken foldover for lunch, and it'll easily last me 2 meals. The Sweet Ring dough balls are also a yummy sweet treat.

This is the best pizza joint, by far. The manicotti, stuffed shells, cheeseburgers, all are totally fire. Here a while back, I ordered some manicotti from a different pizza restaurant, and it left a lot to be desired; it was definitely undercooked. I highly recommend Genoa pizza and bar. Two thumbs up ??

The food here is fire. I ate their Tuscany Chicken pasta more than a few times. The bartender Bri is the best, always good vibes and the drinks are fast.

Genoas is a great place for anybody looking for a great experience involving amazing food with very competitive drink prices, as well as a very welcoming environment to the customers. Everyone is friendly and the kitchen staff is amazing in what they do. The bartenders; Bri, Paige, Joe, Kristyna, Somer and Holly are quick, efficient and very welcoming to the customers and provide a fun experience for all involved. 100% recommend this place to anyone who visits or lives in Pittsburgh.

As an eatery, this place has amazing food and GREAT lunch deals. There is also an attached bar that has inexpensive drinks and a friendly atmosphere perfect for an after-work relaxation period. Bri and Paige are very attentive, very friendly, very funny, and make the place incredibly welcome. I have brought several friends by and would recommend it to anybody.

Came here after work with my friend to grab some pizza and get a drink at the bar. Pizza was great, no complaints. However, the woman bartender was very rude and dismissive towards my friend and I. It started with her making backhanded comments about my friend and I’s age, and how we “probably don’t have any opinions” talking about the program that was on TV. We brushed off that weird comment and continued to order. We ordered amaretto sours, and the bartender continued to make unnecessary, unprompted comments about our drink order— how “one of those won’t get you f’d up” or “someone’s grandmother keeps amaretto on the shelves”. She then proceeded to make our drinks with over 3/4 sour mix and a little SPLASH of amaretto. Yeah, no wonder they won’t get us “f’d up”, she doesn’t know how to make one properly. I paid like $5 for a glass of lemonade essentially. She never checked back in with us afterwards and even ignored us for a while when we were trying to pay the tab to get out of her hellscape of a bar. Ultimately, she had no issue showing hospitality to any of the men, or women with boyfriends at the bar. I would recommend the pizza to anyone, but go get your drinks from someone more deserving.

$21.99 for a 12" gluten free pizza? Really? In NYC that would be outrageous.
