Disregard the negative reviews about this place, they are all rich and entitled people from Shadyside and Point Breeze. Great vibe, incredible food, great staff, and reasonable prices for the quality of the product. So happy to have this place within walking distance of my home. Wish them nothing but success!
I'm editing this review at the end of 2025. Georgie's still has delicious food, but a few other things have made me stop going there nearly as much as I used to. The base price for a breakfast sandwich used to be $9.50 in January, and is now $15 in December. If you want to add bacon and to have it on an English muffin instead of a biscuit, it's $21. That's over a 50% increase, plus new credit card surcharges and an expected tip. They seem to be isolating much...
It's a lovely place for a coffee and bite. The food is amazing, from the pastries/scones to the savory sandwiches and food options. It's totally worth the wait, though sometimes it is hard to get seating. The only downside is it's a bit loud; they play the music on the loud side and then when it gets busy the noise level rises. It can be a bit overwhelming! But especially when it's non-peak hours, it's a really lovely place. And it's worth getting...
