It was our first time at Gi-Jin. After looking at the menu on our phones we were slightly overwhelmed by all the options. Our server, Regan, was great. She gave us an overview of the menu and told us about the most popular dishes and her own favorites. We started with soup and salad, both were delicious. Next we shared two of the Plates and then finished with the chocolate torte at Regan's recommendation. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and will be back in the future.

i absolutely love this place! Hands down some of the best sushi in Pittsburgh. The red crab and spicy scallop hand roll are delicious. The dynamite crab plate is a must share every time. Make sure to try any cocktail, i always have them surprise me with something good! Remember you are also here for the experience of this place. Patrick is an excellent bartender/server. Needless to say, I'll be back for more and will continue to go back as long as this place still stands...

The food was amazing, the service impeccable. Our server went above and beyond helping a non sushi fan to select dishes. I started with the salad with ginger dressing which was crisp and flavorful. The crab plate was perfect. Each bite felt like an explosion of goodness in my mouth. The spicy tuna sushi was unusual (open faced ) and again perfectly spiced. We finished with tge chocolate cake which can only be described as decadent! Our first time here will not be the last.
