Terrible experience start to finish. There’s always 900 people just hanging out in the parking lot walking around while you’re trying to drive around. Went in to get parsley and no exaggeration the first bunch I picked up had a live maggot in it. A full blown maggot. Repulsive. Then I get in line
and was rang out by the most miserable person I’ve ever encountered, Michelle D. This was today 10/15/24 @ 5:30-5:45ish. Was so rude for no reason even like the most minimal pleasantries were lost on her which made no sense to me since she was nice to the dude in front of me who wasn’t even buying anything he was asking where the nearest beer distributor was. I really don’t appreciate being treated like I’m an idiot or an annoyance. Probably get a different job that isn’t customer facing if you’re going to act like that.
It's far from the worst grocery store in the country, let alone a 5 mile radius, with many improvements in selection, cleanliness and overall environment over my 17+ years of shopping here. Don't believe all the hype and negative press you hear.
Does not answer phone calls from provider regarding patient medications
Giant Eagle alerted me about the Gold Medal flour recall purchased at their store, returned the flour the young lady who facilitated the return was exemplary demonstration of customer service. Thank you GE I apologize for not getting her name. Customer service is so much better at this Giant Eagle (Cedar Ave) Sale prices are very good so is product availability. Much improved produce and service.
Had a great experience, staff was very supportive and helpful
Everything you need
Very nice store.
A very good, reliable grocery store.
They dont have everything that I would usually get at a grocery store (I usually go to the Giant Eagle Market Districts), but they are pretty affordable (they wont break the bank) and they have a good variety.
Not bad
Got Charged $9.99 today for Red Bull that was advertised as $7.49 on the shelf. This happens WAY too often. If you ask, you get a "We didn't get signs changed from last week" or " They put the signs up early".

This is the worst giant eagle in the Pittsburgh area. It situated in a very dangerous neighbourhood you have to step over a bunch of vagrant heroin addicts to even get into the place. Every time I go in and go out somebody is begging for money in the area. They have security but they’re unable to do anything. The staff that works there is friendly although the cashiers act like they don’t want to be there but the management is cool and the girls that work in the front desk are awesome.
If there was another store more convenient 4 me, I would NEVER go to this store
Stopped in for some car snacks before our return trip to Cleveland. We were only here because we had been to the Warhol museum near by.
Looked like a decent store. It seemed clean and the checkout person was very nice and friendly.
Love this place :)
Had what we were looking for
For in and out quickly
Staff was friendly
