Was very excited ever since I tried their cake at a baby shower. My cake came out beautiful but at pick up I asked for a favor and asked if it was at all possible to place parchment paper over the window of the box as it was a surprise cake. The cashier stated they may be able to and took the cake back but barely out of earshot she said “these people and their demands today” and told the kitchen my request. I do not think this was a huge request, I had explained that this was a surprise anniversary cake and needed to be stored in my fridge where my husband goes, and I thought for a business whose purpose and passion was to help customers celebrate milestones in their lives that they’d be more understanding but this interaction has now unfortunately soured my experience

UPDATE: leadership from the company reached out to me and offered their sincere apology and acknowledged this cake missed the mark. I appreciate Melanie trying to make this right. It says a lot about a small company to call and apologize instead of ignoring reviews or getting upset/defensive. I want to give them a second chance but it probably wont be a 3-tier fondant cake.

Original review: I ordered a cake after seeing Bella Christie at an event open house and after tasting some things definitely wanted to order a cake for my event. I worked with Beth on the concept of the cake and she made it fit within my budget. However, I was so embarrassed when the cake arrived because I told a lot of people how cool the cake was going to look. How could a 5 star bakery make a cake look so bad? I feel like a culinary student did this. The message on top was sloppy as hell, our logo was VERY CROOKED but the cake tasted good. For $500 3 tier cake I would have expected you to at least put our logo on leveled.

Really delicious oatmeal cream pie. Just wish they had more vegan options

Our son is gluten-free and has been SO sad at every birthday party he goes to because he can’t have the cake. His big wish was for a pokeball cake with Pokemon cupcakes — Bella Christie’s DELIVERED. Everyone raved about the cake — especially the birthday boy!

I custom ordered vegan mini cupcakes and they were perfect. Their vegan oatmeal cream pie is delicious and available daily. Occasionally they will have vegan cupcakes out on the weekend but call ahead to ask. I am hoping for more vegan options to become available soon. Updated from previous review on 2024-02-23

What an awesome little bakery if you are looking for something sweet and with great presentation! I stopped to pick up something for my daughter and left with a bag filled with goodies. I got stuffed chocolate chip cookies for her and also snagged some mini red velvet and mini vanilla bean cupcakes, as well as 2 crustless cheesecakes. All were fresh, delicious and beautifully decorated. It would have been a big plus if there was some seating inside and they put a little more into the interior decor. The vibe inside didn’t match the goods, so nothing really draws you in but pure need. I will say though that I will be back whenever I’m in the area because of the quality of the baked goods. Sooooo good!

Edited: Quite annoyed with the new business that has taken over Gigi's cupcakes...as they told me, over the phone, that they still used Gigi's recipe in their cupcakes. This is not true. After driving 45 minutes to come grab some allergy friendly cupcakes (Gigi's had gluten free, nut free, and soy free options), I discovered after discussing with the employee upon arrival, that the cupcake recipes are completely different than what they were when Gigi's Cupcakes was the name on the building. And while they may still be gluten friendly, they ALL have soy in them. The new company really should've closed the Gigi's location on Google maps and started as a "New Business". This is very misleading that they get all the good reviews from Gigi's Cupcakes without the product. I left my review at 3 stars because the employee was super nice and the products looked good visually.Original review of Gigi's Cupcakes had a5 stay rating from me (this location no longer serves Gigi's products): Sooooo delicious and soft and fresh! I was a little hesitant after some of the reviews, and also because i used to work on a bakery so i know a good cupcake or two. But these are fantastic!!Edit, 1 year later: I've been here numerous times, driving an hour every time specifically for these cupcakes! And I still stand by my original review. Forgo the macarons tho... Just get the cupcakes.
