Acceptable food, but takes way too long despite not being busy and it is quite pricy…

The customer service here is beyond amazing. They give you a free fruit bowl which is delicious. As you can see in the photos I devoured it. I also got a smoothie I liked it. The parfait bowl is amazing! Fruity peeble waffle omg..1,000 heart eyes to this restaurant.

Best brunch! Cozy, holistic vibe made it easy to settle in, and Casandra greeted us with the warmest welcome. Loved the complimentary fruit bowls to start. Food was standout - fresh, flavorful & beautiful presented. Highly recommend the generously portioned breakfast burrito and cheese & sausage omelettes. The sweetest moment was when the chefs surprised me with a birthday dessert topped with fruit, a candle & singing:) Looking forward to coming back!

What a great spot! We are new to Pittsburgh and came here for my wife's birthday today. We are vegan and they have some great options! The owners were also some very kind folks and it was great to meet them and eat some food cooked with love. Will definitely be back

Delicious. We had the Kielbasa Bowl and the Breakfast Burrito. They both tasted amazing and the portions are great. 10/10 would come back again

I love this place. I'm always looking for restaurants that feel like they're part of the community, and Goodness Gracious absolutely hits the mark. I felt so at home, it was like I was having brunch at a friend's place. The staff is friendly and personable. They are extremely accommodating of dietary needs. The fruit bowl is delicious. The coffee is really good- and I'm picky! I loved that they told us they'd take their time cooking since everything is made fresh to order, though I thought the wait was very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Goodness Gracious that was delicious!!! See what I I did there. Breakfast was a 10/10, but the lunch menu and milkshakes are already calling our names!

The food was delicious. So happy with the gluten-free bread option. I got the egg and cheese sandwich with potatoes. The potatoes were seasoned so nicely. I highly recommend Goodness Gracious!

Friend and I just had a great lunch at this funky little basement cafe off Walnut Street in Shadyside. I would call it American comfort food, except with a lot of vegan/vegetarian/food-allergy-sensitive options. My friend had the portabella sandwich, which came with a delicious garlic aioli. Surprise! It was vegan! The macaroni salad, also vegan, was equally delicious. I had a classic grilled cheese with pepper jack and muenster instead of the usual American cheese. Their coffee was great too. Prompt and friendly service. Atmosphere is sort of hippy-bistro, very simple, no tablecloths, paper napkins, just real laid back. They do take reservations, which I would recommend for a large group. The place is small. Fine for all ages. Not wheelchair accessible. It's down a flight of stairs from the street, a bit hard to find. When we were there, they had no sign outside that we could see. I was glad I checked Google street view before we went.

Fantastic food and service! Our party of 6 tried a bunch of different types of waffles, including gluten free! Also got the vegan breakfast bowl which was a generous portion and quite good!

So glad we stopped in. More people need to know about this place! Friendly, welcoming staff. Chef had no problem whatsoever with any substitutions, and catered to dietary restrictions! They brought our young sons food out first thing without even requesting it. Not very often that you experience such great service and attitudes in restaurants. We really felt taken care of. 10/10!!
