Delicious food! From the bread to the dessert and everything in between! Drink were delicious! The atmosphere feels like walking into the early 1900's! I highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for years, when Milo was in charge actually. Whoever is running this place now is running it into the ground. From lack luster portions, to the horrendous quality of food and dirtiness of the establishment, it’s all bad. I will add there are a few servers who still do their best from what we saw and are over qualified to work here anymore. Valet went up by $3 and they asked if we wanted to tip when we arrived without doing anything? They were wearing sweat pants when we pulled in for dinner, sweat pants? I sorry I didn’t mean to disturb you from getting out of bed did I? It was the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen at a “fine dining” establishment in years. The lack of professionalism starts from the top down and can be felt at the door.

Food and service were really good. We went there for a business dinner. The environment was quite impressive. Should be a good option for tourists.

Went for Sunday brunch. All kinds of food. The atmosphere was unbelievable. I couldn't really judge service because it's buffet style.

What a disappointment. This is our go to restaurant when in the Pittsburgh area. Tonight was special because we brought a guest that hadn't been before and we talked it up. Our service was horrible and the food was cold. I think its time to change to a different restaurant.

Ate at the bar. Happy Hour prices are quite reasonable, and the seafood roll and prime rib sliders were delicious!

Let’s start by saying this restaurant is stunning inside. On the other other hand, this was one of the worst experiences i’ve EVER had in a restaurant and I work in the industry. My boyfriend and I decided to make a reservation for valentine’s day, to begin our reservation was at 8pm we arrive at 7:55 went to the host stand to be greeted in an extremely rude and nasty manner. The rude host proceeded to tell us they’re running 30 minutes behind and she’ll call us when our tables ready without any apology or sincerity whatsoever. We weren’t actually sat until 8:45. At that, the food was subpar AT BEST and the only redeeming quality was the nice server who gave us free dessert to accommodate for lack of timeliness and empathy. Don’t let this place fool you.

A great location, great building/architecture, ambience. Our first experience here and we were excited to visit.

Our experience: Pleasant service but a disappointing wait for crispy calamari (tasty but cold and if anything “too” crispy - see comments below). Note, the restaurant was not visibly busy at this time and the delay was not really explained. After the calamari our “sensational” seafood was OK at best. It is hard to disappoint with a flavorful Sea Bass (which we eat and cook ourselves at home quite often). Obviously I don’t know but It seemed like the main course plate had been kept warm while we waited for the delayed “hot” appetizer. For example, when the main course arrived the wild rice risotto (served with the Applejack Sea Bass) was dry/crisp on top and the Sea Bass itself was overcooked (dry and it didn’t flake easily or naturally). That said, the Applejack and sweet bourbon reduction/sun-dried cherries worked really well though overall I wish the flavor of the sea bass was not lost as much as it was.

I did enjoy the evening but that was due to the company and view more than the food. The food would always be third on that list but it should have been a more “competitive” third given the reputation of this restaurant.

Our server, Neil, was fantastic. He was a true professional and made our dinner so enjoyable. He did not rush us at all and brought us 2 basket bags of homemade bread in addition to sending us home with some when he packed up my leftovers.
My husband had filet mignon (he loved it!) and I had the seafood trio. I highly recommend the seafood trio it was a very large portion. And a delicious creme brûlée.

Kudos to the chefs and servers. It also is a beautiful ambience and surrounding to dining in.

They seated us 45 minutes behind our 1pm reservation time, then after being seated we head to the buffet to finally eat and all the trays were empty. We told our waitress but they never refilled them. This was hands down the WORST experience I've had here. Very expensive, for absolutely no food.

Beautiful building worth visiting. Food was good in an old fashioned, simple way - decent quality. They were out of a lot of things...poke tuna, beets, the red wine we wanted. This caused delays and interruptions that were unpleasant. Service was much too slow.

We have been here for brunch many times and will continue to come for special occasions. The service was lacking this time as it seemed our table for two was forgotten when we first arrived, and we had to ask who our server was to be - after watching many walk by us. We received adequate service, but had to flag our server down to get our bill. Others around us seemed to receive better service. It was very busy, and the line to for pancakes/waffles was far too long to bother, but we had plenty of other food to enjoy. We would not let this lack of service keep us from returning, but hope that this server will do a better job in the future for other guests.

Food was not bad. But service was awful. Server really seemed like she did not know what she was doing. Disappeared for 10's of minutes multiple times. Seemed confused. Was not that crowded and seemed like plenty of staff so something else was going on I guess.

Beautiful building and space but they seem to be riding on the location.
