We travelled from out of town and stopped for dinner. Everything was delicious. We just wished the 3 course menu was available for dinner. The construction is also beautiful.
Great.
The Grand Concourse is a favorite of ours. We enjoyed the Sunday Brunch a couple of weeks ago. The food, as always, was divine. The salmon patè and the omelet station are a personal favorite. The manager, Taylor, was lovely. We are always happy to see her when we come in. She makes each guest feel welcome and treats everyone with such respect. I notice she stops at every table to check on them and seems to genuinely care. Staci (hope I spelled it right!), our server, was so friendly and on the ball with everything we needed! I never saw the bottom of my water glass and she was prompt with answers to all of our questions. I am allergic to coffee and wanted to ensure there wasn't any in the food I was eating. She made sure to double check everything so I could safely eat. Leo, who we often see at the meat station, always greets us with a smile and always remembers to ask about our son. Sorry it is so long winded, I really wish I had written this prior to now!
We were celebrating a birthday and went for the brunch buffet. It was what we wanted and more. The gentleman that took us to our table, I did not catch his name, had so much charisma that he could double as a professional wrestling manager. He set us up with Reid who knew the place. Reid knew what to highlight and where to send us. On to the food, the prime rib was the reason for the visit and it did not disappoint but neither did any of the other food. The pierogies were crisp and flavorful, the desserts were amazing, and the eggs were good...I'm highlighting that for a reason because there's no good way to have good buffet eggs but they did it. We will definitely becoming back for non special occasions. The ambiance was perfect too. The views of the river and the city topped off a perfect brunch.
We went for Sunday brunch buffet and the main entrees were delicious. The only issue I had was with the desserts, I feel that they were not up to par.
To start, the staff were all very patient and knowledgeable. There can be a lot going on during the brunch buffet so navigating takes some patience. The food was great, both members of our party got everything we could have wanted and more. The prime rib was amazing, and there were so many more options than were listed so it was nice to have some surprises. The view of the city from our table was the cherry on the sundae.
Service was slow. My food was overpriced and mediocre. I didn’t mind the price but I was expecting excellence for an almost $90 surf & turf. Potatoes were room temperature and they only give 3 sticks of asparagus.
Ambiance very nice. Prices not worth the meals. Shrimp was over cooked, Halibut was steamed server never asked how I wanted it cooked. Rice was similar to boil in bag rice. Manager offers to buy us dessert but we declined. Overall we were disappointed in our visit. Expected more since most reviews seemed positive.
Beautiful restaurant. Lot of great seafood items to choose from. We came with our family with young kids and felt welcome. Our son enjoyed walking outside to look at the trains. Service was lovely and mocktails were delicious.
I have been here several times. Atmosphere is absolutely unbeatable. Service is excellent and so is the food. Favorite place to go in Pittsburgh when we are going to splurge.

Fantastic Sunday Brunch!!! So much food! Beautiful presentation. Great flavor! Many options!
It was cold inside of the restaurant which made us uncomfortable. We needed a warm beverage. Our server was attentive.
Better than Fogo de Chao and a much better value.
Simple. Baked salmon was bad. Smelled so fishy, there is no way the chef didnt know. Get rid of the dry potatoes. Im sorry, but $45/person for what I recieved wasn't a good deal. However, Reid, our server was very good. I'll eat a Pamela's for half the cost and consistently great breakfast/brunch.
My Birthday reservation was for 5pm we got seated at 5:15 pm all of my 8 guest + 2 ordered we had to wait 1hr 45 minutes for our dinner almost 2 hrs and it was freezing cold my to elder aunts in 70's and 80 yrs of age had to keep going outside to get warm . My Cajun chicken tortellini was horrible the tortellini noodles taste like dumplings . Everyone was ready to leave so they never brang me out the birthday cake and sang happy birthday. 5 of us took to go boxes . It was a bad bday dinner . And I was only able to use 1 gift card $25 when you sent me a $50 gift reward . Just a bad bday experience. My dinner was $47 and I got a bill of $73 ? Very disappointed ☹️!
Very impressive atmosphere. Very grand. Service was top notch. Food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back!
Grand concourse is conveniently located on the southside right over the Smithfield Street bridge from downtown Pittsburgh. The service was outstanding and our server Neil was great. Our food was excellent.
