Great food and very accommodating staff. They could not have been more helpful. Sandwiches are delicious as is the soup! Can't go wrong with this place. Angela was an excellent server.

Had no food, got my drink order wrong and kicked us out at 7:15pm… floor covered in popcorn.

Quiet little neighborhood bar. Definitely a locals spot. The bartender knew everyone’s order as soon as they walked in. I was offered a little snack plate with chips and pretzels. No draft beer, but your standard selection of bottles and cans.

Amazing hidden gem well it's only been around 100 years. Check it out you won't regret it but you will regret not going

Great little, cozy place to grab lunch while on jury duty, and just across the street from the city county building, so super convenient. Ladies behind the bar were super friendly and talkative. I had an excellent reuben. And as an added bonus, after lunch they had a bag with chocolate and mints and various treats and let me take some with me so I had something to satisfy my sweet tooth while I sat on jury duty.

I haven't been here in over 25 years and the service and food is still AMAZING! I use to work in the Grant building and walked up here from by the Point. Worth every step!??

The weirdest service I've ever experienced. The waitress brought me the wrong food and when I kindly told her, she got a nasty attitude and yelled to the cooks in a condescending manner that I said I ordered something else. Then I accidentally spilled my water and a guy from the back came out to mop it up. I was like "Sorry man, I guess I have butter fingers today" and he responded by speaking in the third person and saying "That's why Dillon doesn't like you.".Weird vibes from the decor to the attitude. I would give it one star, but the food actually wasn't bad.

This place is amazing. The food was awesome. Can't wait until I am in the area again I know where I'm going. They are busy during happy hour but we didn't mind the staff was great and food even better.

Our first time here Shirley and Judy welcomed us with smiles and enthusiasm that made us instantly feel at home. This beautiful piece of tavern history is the bar for those who are looking for a comfortable, all inclusive, no-frills, casual, honest, and fun place to have a few drinks. We will return to Pittsburgh just to come back to one of our new favorite Bars.Thank you!

The service = 5 stars + the drink prices = 5 starsThe entrance is a little tricky, you need to go inside the building.I was instantly greeted like I was family, and the place was decently busy, busy still had some space. I love a good tavern/pub, but this one felt amazing to go to as a visitor!Beers are around $3.75 and they are trying to keep it that way!Cash is encouraged to help keep the costs down of this family feeling vibe place.I tried a local beer (only beer in bottles, no draft) and a shot of Jameson! Everything was amazing.Place was clean - did not smell like smoke, and the decor is so fun/funny!Thanks for having me! :)
