I really don't know what to say about this place other than weird. You can tell as soon as you walk in that it's kind of a counter culture spot. The patrons will range from alternative punks to well dressed young professionals. The spot does not seem to fit in present day Lawrenceville. I would stop in for a beer but maybe a bottle not a draft.
I love this dive. I just wish the table service wasn't a dive... Consistently long waits to just get the bill. Have waited over a half hour after asking for it on several occasions. Impossible to flag down wait-staff.
The bisque could have been warmer, but boy did it taste amazing! I laughed at the provided placemat being for children and demanded crayons so I could color (joking). I was happy to see they had several bottled ciders and one on draft. I was curious about a new section in the menu, but dispite being 'new' they didn't have any 'adventure style deviled eggs'.
