I think the factory had seen happier days by the looks of it, but at least they had treats... of which were a sort of a hit-and-miss. We had a custard swirl that definitely warrants a revisit over how good it was! Their Cookie Monster ice cream was pretty good as well, but their ice cream sandwiches were disgusting. It had quite the displeasurable aftertaste to the point where we couldn't even finish it, and their waffle cones were way too hard... at least the man serving us seemed nice, but I don't see us frequenting this establishment much in the foreseeable future.

The ice cream is really good and the staff is very nice. They make eating ice cream on a warm summer day a pleasant experience. It's nice to have neghborhood places like this.

Great service! The team from Happy Day Dessert Factory came out to our office, and everyone enjoyed their delicious desserts. Friendly, professional, and a hit with the staff — highly recommend!

Service was great, prices too, cookies were underwhelming and a little stale

The best frozen custard I have ever had. Super creamy and delicious. Will definitely be back.

Super quick with communication and response, especially for a request of a later notice booking for their ice cream truck for a party, which they were able to accommodate. Showed up on time, not to mention the ice cream and water ice was delicious and a huge hit. They were nice people and enjoyable to chat with as well. Felt like it was all very reasonably priced too. Will definitely use again!

Came in, and immediately felt very catered for! The dark lighting was pretty calming compared to the busier open road, and I felt very catered towards by the man serving me. Gave me a run-down of the options, and I ended up with a fantastic chocolate-chip cookie and two scoops of Cookie Monster + Chocolate Cookies & Cream ice cream. A great spot for anyone, including families, CCAC students, and anyone else looking to grab a good treat!

The owner is wonderful. His employees are the worst I have ever seen. I have come in multiple times with the same experience. They are unprofessional and the area is kept so dirty. The other reviews are accurate. Employees running around like kids, not making eye contact, whispering and sitting on their phones despite the line, etc.

He really needs to hire better help. They are just horrific. We eventually stopped coming despite living in the area with kids. I had a great experience with the owner. He took much more pride.

My gf and I stopped after seeing a funnel cake sign posted outside. The worker was friendly but unfortunately the funnel cake was rough. It was toaster oven cooked and came out hard as a rock with a burnt bottom. Sad because it was $7. We threw over half of it away :/

I lived in Pittsburgh for one year, and I think I visited this place at least once a week for the entire year. I lived and worked right there in Manchester, and it felt so good to have a spot I could rely on on my very long walks around this staggeringly beautiful city. I really appreciated how frequently ice cream flavors were rotated in and out, I only ever had the same flavor once or twice. The mango ice's are incredible and maybe my favorite refreshment ever. I genuinely love and miss this place.
